Re: VAR - yes or no ?

It's complete b*llocks. Or in Batshitty's case, not quite...

Can anyone explain how that outcome was entirely different to Son's? And I'm no admirer of Son.

50 goals now conceded for Villa, more than Norwich.
Almost 2 goals a game.
We all agree - John Terry is magic....

Re: Man City (Non-WHU)

proph - Man City are definitely not part of the establishment that I was referring to. Think of it as "old money" vs "new money" if you like... the new money is definitely not welcome at the top table and every opportunity to block their path is being used. Same for PSG. Support? That's not what it'...

Re: Man City (Non-WHU)

Ambition is ambition - otherwise nothing would change. Which is what the self-serving "elite" would actually like. You still have to ask why the rules got altered. It was to try and ensure there was no change to the status quo. I don't have any more of an issue with an Arab elite spending their mone...

Re: Man City (Non-WHU)

I can't see how anyone can see what UEFA are doing to Man City as anything but an attack on ambition? If someone wishes to put their own money into a business then they should be allowed to. This whole thing is a stitch up by the 'traditional' big clubs & a complicit governing body to ensure the mo...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

This is where things like this should be done "under the cover of night" as it were. Because they know it could happen, you can be sure they'll pull out all the stops to prevent it, whereas if the first time they knew about it was the unfurling at the Kop end, there's f**k all they can do about it ...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

The previous group was not set up like this one. If/when something has been set up for donations, Hammers United has to show full acounts to the FSA, and the members will get to see any income and expenditure through the accounts. With this group set up with a legal constitution and accounts everyt...

Change due to pressure isn't what people want?
They haven't changed. They are doing a damage limitation and deflection exercise. Without the real pressure of HU and WHUISA this would otherwise be forgotten in two months.

Mid week is the only time a postponed weekend game can be played, surely?
There is actually a blank weekend I think, but it is being kept clear because of Man City's "other potential commitments" such as rescheduled games if they have a cup replay. :thdn:

If anything, he comes out of that looking alright.
Personally I thought the references to his mother being boracic and someone who may have upset him being roughed up slightly not alright, but maybe it's just me.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Not sure where to post this message to be honest... but here goes for here. I knew david golds mum, my nan was her best friend and they used to go bingo with her until she sadly passed away. David, and ralph treated her abysmally. She lived in a tiny little flat in east ham and they paid for a full...

That Son is a horrible little ****er
He absolutely is. People keep giving him the benefit but there's lots of instances where he's left a bit on someone, not just the Everton bloke but like on Snoddy last season - right under the lino's nose.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Bond for Liverpool: Sullivan wrote to us to tell us that they would take more Liverpool away tickets if HU put up a bond for them. ie, if they didn’t end up selling out then HU could fit the bill so that it wouldn’t cost the club. About 30k. Would be interesting to see if the press pick this as the...
