Re: Response From Club Re Norwich Tickets

If it was an option I'd have no problem with it. Being dragooned into having to do it this way - for no good reason that has ever been explained to us - is what I object to.

Re: Who Will Beat Us To Top 4?

With Arsenal vs Spurs postponed we could potentially be 5 points ahead of Arsenal (who will have two games in hand) and 7 ahead of Spurs (who'll have 4 games in hand). Those games in hand obviously include one against each other. So someone - and hopefully both - will be dropping points there... :D

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Nothing to do with the stance. I just don’t like him as a player. As for Jessie he’s acted with integrity the last year. Fwiw I don’t think we should go back for him. Was great the first time but I can see it being flat the second. Maybe not you but a lot of people have been saying things like &quo...

Baggage, overpriced, overpaid. No thanks.

Hard pass on that one.
...and yet - that's the sort of stance some are demanding Lingard should be taking.

A foolish move by Man Utd if it happens but I’ll take it!
Actually it may not be quite so stupid. Yes he could improve us to their detriment. But it could also improve us against Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal - all of whom we also are still to play... to Man U's potential benefit.

Re: Response From Club Re Norwich Tickets

Yep - however I should be clear - this bloke (and another guy who I had a discussion with at the turnstiles a few weeks ago about why the insistence on digital ticketing not season cards) were definitely actual Club employees not E20 or whatever.

He's got Mings ahead of him who has the armband but imo is probably responsible in part for many of the goals Villa ship.

No surprise clubs are trying it on - they've been encouraged to. But you can rely on Arsenal to take it to an extra level.

Re: Is now a good time for the season to be suspended?

If your squad is so thin you can't fulfill fixtures you probably shouldn't be selling players, or loaning two players out cough Arsenal cough. Quite right. There are two separate issues though: one is obviously the shithousery of which Arsenal are masters, especially under Helmet-head. The other is...

Re: Response From Club Re Norwich Tickets

Of course anyone with COVID shouldn’t attend but the declaration is just a box ticking exercise. What’s the point of having it cover three games, so responses for Sunday’s game may be 10 days out of date. I think it very unlikely that the responses are linked to ticket activation. The club specific...

I suggested this a couple of weeks back. In light of the Woods transfer it would be hilarious seeing him have to return to turn out for a random game in Burnley colours in February :D

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Leeds Utd: match thread

Haven’t been since plan b came into action, what are the covid checks like? Do they actually do them? Short answer is that, yes, if you are unlucky a few random people get pulled up walking towards the security check-in. However I had an odd experience on Wednesday whilst I was queueing at the turn...

I don't know if it may help but I'm going to post the times (approx) when I logged in and the times I wasn't able to - maybe the timing will be of some significance, especially if it matches with others' experiences: blue = success; red = "invalid submission"... 13/1/22: 10.55 ; 22.39 - 22...
