Re: Season ticket renewal 24/25
Just the home games - no cup games thrown in. The club have got to the point now where they will not mind if the season ticket numbers drop slightly so they will push their luck with the price increase. They sold too many S/Ts when we moved (and priced the lower bands too cheap) and clubs need more...

Re: ✍ Welcome, Jarrod Bowen
Came in for some rough treatment last night and I did wince a couple of times when he got clattered. But he rose above it and must have made a real impression on everyone, even the Saka fan club.

Apparently Johnstone was down to start last night but suffered an injury to his arm in training and was sent home. U-21 keeper was bumped up as a result and Pickford started when he wasn't due to.hammerman11 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2024 7:34 am ...

Re: Leicester charged with spending breach
HM your dislike for Man City is unhealthy. West Ham and City actually have quite a good relationship. Without them, we would’ve suffered with years of Liverpool & now Arsenal dominance. Imagine that! And the real point is that "the rules" were actually brought in to keep the likes of ...

Re: VAR 2023/24
I think it has to be deliberate, which based on the fact he pushes his arm towards the ball, they decided it was. I think I agree. I can't actually see the ball contact Soucek's arm. His arm moves towards the ball but there is no definitive angle to show contact. There is such a melee that it canno...

Re: VAR 2023/24
Use it for offside, and offside alone. Bin the rest. The laws arent clear enough. In fact, they ought to adopt the semi-automated system that UEFA/FIFA use. It may or may not be more accurate than the lines, but because it reduces it all to a graphic image, there should be little or no dispu...

Re: VAR 2023/24
This is key for me. There wasn't one, because the post is in the way. It was one of many referee mistakes in the game not to give the handball (add that to blowing too early when Kudus scored and not showing a second yellow for kicking the ball away), but having made that mistake there wasn't enoug...

Can confirm based on last week. Really friendly and welcoming.
Hope they go well in the rest of their season and qualify for Europe again.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
Not even being funny, if the intention is always there to go out and attack the opposition yet in 90% of games in the last 4 years it hasn't happened on the pitch then Moyes should have been fired years ago for being hapless and ineffective. It's better for him that it IS his philosophical preferen...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
Can anyone please explain this "intent" issue? How do people know what Moyes' intent was going in to a game? For instance: against Brentford everyone thought we started fast and "had intent". Against Burnley it was the reverse. Why would that be? Why would Moyes instruct his play...

He's probably had a very difficult few months, so a solid performance and an important goal, and a grin all over his face? Brilliant and well deserved.

It's not so much the physical issues - we think we can see them, but we don't really know the extent.
The problem now though is he is making errors in his positioning and they could be costly.
