Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

I’m normally the glass half full type of West Ham fan but that tonight had relegation written all over it. The problem is there’s no chink of light. Apart from Antonio there’s no one coming back and we ain’t gonna bring any one in worth a ****. I’ve always defended Masuaku but after that second goal...

99/00 season we had keeper starters in Hislop, Forrest, Bywater, Feuer and Ilic......5 goalkeepers in a season! Mind you, that season was so much more fun than this one

I have no issue with Moyes but can people please stop using Brian Oviedo as a yardstick for his scouting prowess please? It’s not a good look. Ta.

Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread

We didn't have a shot on target until 77th minute That is irrelevant anyway, it is more about the mindset. The managers/ players should not be thinking that a draw is a good result Disagree with that Crouchie. A draw away from home is a good result for the majority of teams in this league, includin...

Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread

I read someone say the mix up was 100 percent balbuena's fault. I think he shares some of the blame but Martin hit it too hard and in the wrong direction. For me Balbuena was at fault initially. He called for the ball and then inexplicably hesitated. Martin’s pass wasn’t that bad. He should’ve save...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

It isn't just that though is it ... As with Arnie he has moved Anderson centrally where he can get on the ball more. With Pelle he looked a frustrated figure, being out of the game for fairly long periods, and being hooked in most games. Moyes is also more willing to try different formations to sui...

Re: Joe Cole as a coach?

Whilst it's almost certainly a move to placate the Moyes hate mob, Joe Cole, rather unexpectedly, is one of the most insightful, concise, understated and balanced pundits on TV. He has been on a real journey as a player as well. Certainly couldn't hurt to have that kind of experience around. He kno...

New Providence wasn’t hit. Abaco was smashed to bits and only just got electric back.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Fellaini would actually be an excellent signing. He is much more of a handful for opposing defenders than Haller has been so far. Wages would be steep though, unless he gets subsidized by the Chinese. Weird comparison. Haller maybe a slow burner but he’s going to be absolutely mustard if he and we ...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Obviously you have to take this with a massive helping of salt as it is Rodgers, but he previously said: “I would have paid many millions more for this kid. He’s unique in that he’s a British player who is incredible on the ball. “Joe’s role is to keep the ball. And that, in Britain, is a special t...

Snodgrass also blitzed the Championship when he was down there.
Yup. Goals and assists for days. The assertion that Allen is ‘much better than Snodgrass’ is hugely debatable.

In fact it’s total b*llocks.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

I don't get this Randolph signing from either side, he is playing first team football for a reasonably big club, he is still a great shot stopper who is awful at crosses. Only thing I can think of is, he is desperate to get back to London or/and Boro still owe us money for him and can't afford too,...

Re: 2nd Hand Car Considerations

Tax breaks on company lease of electric cars as of April I believe. Not sure on the exact criteria. I'd get a Tesla. The Model 3 comes in at well under 400 ex VAT and goes like **** of a shovel. As I understand it (and I stand to be corrected) your firm leases the car and claims the VAT back. They ...
