Re: ✍ Welcome, Jarrod Bowen
If Bowen keeps in form till the end of the season and hits that 20 milestone, Southgate will have to take him. Other than Saka, there is no other player who can do what Bowen does so effective on the right wing / forward position. Palmer, Gordon etc on that wing are square pegs in round holes. Don't...

Re: Summer 2023/24 Transfer Thread
You have to ask why so many players are open to leaving us and not many banging down the door to join, we just won a trophy, Europe 3 years in row, some of the best fans in the world but players want to leave. There is rather a serious problem with the management and / or ownership that players don’...

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Wolverhampton Wanderers: match thread
Moyes won’t be playing Scamacca, Areola, Cornet or Emerson against Wolves Over the next couple weeks he will be working with Fornals, Cresswell, Dawson, Benni, his old guard on a game plan with the coaching stuff to beat Wolves. He may play Paqueta, but I reckon Dawson will come in for Kehrer. It’s ...

Re: ⚽ Aston Villa v West Ham United: match thread
Hopefully Benni on the left, Scamacca up top, I would consider cornet on the right and drop Bowen, Bowen hasn’t offered anything in the prem so far. If moyes starts Fornals, Lanzini, Antonio and Bowen up top it will be hugely frustrating Who he plays in the full back positions will be interesting Us...

Re: Europa Conference League 22-23
I’m pleased it’s a tricky draw, we have the better squad than any and home matches shouldn’t be a problem but the way grounds of Anderlecht and FCSB grounds will be a good test for some of the players. We don’t want teams who will just roll over we need all the squad players to be challenged and tes...

Lovely finish.
Be even more amazing if he played in the premier league!
Needs more time to settle, not like he’s a instinctive striker

Very astute signing, young, fast, can use both feet, versatile and proven he can score in the prem. Also showed desire to join us. All for £17.5m

Hope not, he’s got a 17.5m buyout clausePuff Daddy wrote: ↑Wed Jul 27, 2022 6:06 pm I see we've bid £20m for Maxwell Cornet. Burnley need to sell him and wouldn't be able to say no that. They would still make a handsome profit on him, so this should be pretty much, dare I say it, 'plain sailing'

We will win this 3-1 in honor of Mr Mark Noble
We will then lose 2-0 to Brighton, its the West Ham way

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window
I agree. I would politely inform them right now that they can remove him from their future shopping list. You think DS would give a **** if he got off decent money from Man U, he wouldn't care, he'd sell his gran for a couple of quid Rice is far better than Man United anyhow, he will go to bigger a...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window
I think York exposes a key point. Which proven but affordable striker is going to be prepared to join us as Antonio’s understudy or medium term replacement? Why would origi swap Liverpool bench for our bench? And if he did, why would he perform better for us than Liverpool (yesterday apart)? Simila...

Re: Declan Rice
Good point maybe it is all journa bull****. His last West Ham game was shocking by his standards and he was even fouling players which is out of character for him. \yes I know all players can have a bad game. Was this because this speculation is affecting him? I don't know, but he seemed ok again p...

Re: Declan Rice
I think Rice saying we are looking for too much is him showing his true colours, time will tell. Has Rice publicly come out or been quoted as saying West Ham are overvaluing him and stopping any opportunity for him to consider a move? Have West Ham publicly said that contracts negotiations have sta...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2021
Having got there, the biggest catastrophe and disrespect we can show our players is not to support them and crash out of Europe early because we have to play the kids. Agree with this, last season was a superb effort by the team to get us into the the proper European rounds and it could all be thro...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2021
I agree with S-H selling him for 40m+ and bringing in three quality players for that money would represent great business, especially if the other alternative is selling Rice. When you find 3 quality players for 40m in today's market, let me Moyes know. If you can then let me know the winning Euro ...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2021
I didn't say i would take a bid for 50m by the way. FWIW - i doubt i would for him.
Given our owners, track record in the transfer market (albeit Moyes not at the helm), that 50m wouldn't be invested in an upgrade of Bowen

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2021
Yes.. I'm not saying I want to shift him, but everyone has a price. Why is that so hard to understand? Because of the risks that arise when you do shift a player who has been successful so far. Who you replace that player is a different matter and if that works out etc. There's key players in a tea...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2021
If we could shift Bowen for decent money, it wouldn't be the worst idea in the world. I like him a lot, but he is quite a limited footballer, if we are being completely honest. You would shift a 24 year old, English Player, who can play across the front line, who chips with 10+ goals a year (Goals ...
