Re: Declan Rice
I tend to define world class as best in class. I don't think he is.

Re: Declan Rice
It's the product of overhype in the first place.
World class is a term that's thrown about casually.

Re: Declan Rice
The £100m plus market for players of his type always felt absurd. They need to be prolific scorers, creators and matchwinners to merit that type of money imo.
His passing isn't top level either.

Re: Midweek games
Genuinely? Over on the Arse site Cool, 4 years and 700m later and still not ready? Fraud When will Arteta handle an April run in? why does he capitulate in this month. All comes down to poor squad management and not rotating well and too busy running our players down to the ground, also the poor re...

A world without Breakfast TV and 24 hour "news" channels. It adds nothing positive and fuels all manner of negative mindsets.
A world where people weren't filming, photographing and recording everything. It triggers the vanity, narcissism and Stasi informant in too many people.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024
10 players to improve us requires a budget of £250m-£300m.
If the budget is about 50%-60% of that, so is the sensible level of recruitment, imo.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
"We are going for 20-23 year olds" "He'a an attacking manager, who wants to dominate possession and control the ball" It's cliche-tastic, isn't it? It reeks of herding without any thought of how X manager is going to be any different to the very many others that all spout the sam...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)
I think the only chance we have is if we keep a clean sheet. I’m not sure we are capable of that. We've scored in almost all the games we've played against English Champions league clubs this year , and have bagged 2s or 3s in more than half the games :shocker: Kept a couple of clean sheets too.

He has been training since Friday, be interesting to see if he is training tomorrow based on this news. That 91st minute goal on Thursday was a proper kick in the nads. At 0-1, with Alvarez and Bowen to come on in the second half of the tie - something the manager would have known/suspected - the a...

Sad news A great bowler one of the best,Used to go and watch Kent back in the days with Deadly,Knott,Luckhurst all playing in a great side.
