We should have a few seasons where the laws of the game are left alone for a bit. Might be a chance for commentators and pundits (and maybe even players and managers) to actually read them.

So the part of the offside rule I don't understand is when does a player who is offside (if you think he is in this instance) become onside again? I mean the ball got headed out by the defender and the offside player was onside when that happened, he then ran back to get the ball and was deemed off...

I assume the query was about whether the player interfered with play (which is the referee's decision to make). But there should be a way that can be communicated to fans/players/coaches straight away.
