Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Bournemouth: Match thread (01/01)

Thought this was an interesting post... "We will go down at some time. Only seven teams are established in this division. The most (consecutive) any of the other 13 have spent in the PL is eight seasons. Those are West Ham and Southampton. Both struggling. After that it's Palace (seven) and Leiceste...

Re: The Fans are part of the problem

we won more games in the lower tier, but i dont really remember us tearing sides apart , we scraped through via the play offs and edged a game vs blackpool that we should have lost Yeah, a funny season. There was the 6-0 against Brighton when I think automatic promotion was pretty much off the tabl...

Re: Manager 18 - David Moyes: yes or no? [POLL]

Personally I would like us to go for somebody like Scott Parker, a young manager, former club cult hero, doing well at Fullham. But this would be too much of a risk for the owners investment. That'd be awesome and would probably get me interested and going to games again. But like you say, we'd hav...

My son is collecting them , he keeps and eye out on ebay, sometime you can snatch a good deal
Whilst everyone was on the piss on boxing day he nabbed a 2002 jubilee edition for only £41
Nice! Whats the plan? Drink or just collecting?

Picked up 4 of those today
I also noticed that Waitrose still have the 2018 available for 6 quid a pop too, So I have put 4 on order
Ah, nice. I usually drink 1, save 1. I have no idea if people ever buy the old ones at those eBay prices but they're nice to have as a treat.

Pretty popular these days, but we like doing the ham in Coca Cola, or Cherry Coke. Kids really enjoy tipping whole bottles into the pot. Does smell a bit weird but comes out nice.

This in the long term, will be the best thing to happen to the club
Come back up via the playoffs after 1 or 2 seasons, then do it all again in 10 years time.

Same goes for Ramrod and Special in a Young’s pub. Same beer.
Yeah, I often have a Ram and Special or Ordinary when I'm in one of the many Young's pubs round my way. Young's cask ale is so bland so does add a touch of excitement to the proceedings.

White Horse, Rainbow Sports Bar, Browns, Ye Old Axe (my particular favourite as a true Vicrorian East End boozer ), Images and capping it off with Metropolis. Went for lunch in the restaurant that has replaced the White Horse. Got all misty eyed whe...

Re: Beer/Lager Thread

I've used Beer Hawk a couple of times - were good. They have a few pubs in London now so just collected in store. They're brilliant for German and Belgian stuff at prices you can't really get elsewhere. Crap for English stuff - probably due to the fact they're owned by AB InBev.

Bloody love that pub. Not been in a few years, sounds like it's even better now.
