Re: Romford
The Sky lads said they would pick up the drinks tab, not realising Chas had been in there all afternoon. So the guy who went to pay got a bit of a shock!

Re: Romford
I'm in no way shape or form an expert, but from the conversations I've had with Chas's family I believe the idea is to try and slow the progress of the inevitable regrowth of the tumour from the parts that were deemed too risky to operate on.
Either way not a pleasant time in prospect.

Re: Romford
Apologies for not updating earlier - the day job does get in the way. To confirm what has already been said the results from the tissue samples they took a couple of weeks ago are bad. The tumour is of a particularly nasty type.It should be remembered that they couldn't remove all of it He will see ...

Re: Romford
Hi all Swapped a few messages with him this morning. He's in good spirits - he was eating a chicken sandwich in the high intensity unit which he described as "living the dream". He wasn't up to a call at that stage but I hope to speak with him tomorrow. Thanks again for all the support. G

Re: Romford
Hi all. Latest from Mrs Romford: Just heard from surgeon, operation went well it was a large tumour he got most of it out, but he has left a small bit behind that was too risky to remove. Overall he is very happy with how the surgery went. He is awake and in intensive care for the next 24 hours to b...
