Re: What are you playing right now?

Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Controls are a bit clunky and does a weird thing where if you select HDR, you can’t alter brightness or contrast and can be a bit dark.

Good fun to play with a big map and good balance of combat and exploration

Re: Welcome to West Ham Utd Julen Lopetegui.

This thread is for the current manager.

I would hope those who were calling for loyalty to the previous manager would practice what they preached with the new one

Point scoring or long off topic posts will be removed. That includes comparisons, Everton etc.

Thank you

Yeah, i'm not going to be bullied into doing that It's not bullying, it's how we remain a credible website and give our posters reassurance. There are a number of attention seekers claiming to be ITK and we won't give them the posting space So your options are to PM UTJ who will keep any informatio...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

I sill think we need two outstanding players and a number of upgrades. So I think we need an outstanding striker and outstanding centre back I think we need upgrades in both full back areas and in central midfield I think we need backups in the keeper and at centre back. Not sure Fabianski is the an...

Re: The Glastonbury festival of contemporary performing arts 2024

My faves so far we're

The Streets
Cyndi Lauper (nostalgia overload)
Idles (good Bristol band)
Kasabian

I have a personal connection in that my cousin plays in the band Fat White Family. To me their music is complete tripe and I don't get it at all.

Re: Fear of Flying

I hate the airport experience and taking off and landing. Once the seat belt off sign comes on I am usually ok. Was on a flight to Mexico and the landing was horrific. I was gripping my seat, the plane was going up and down on descent and some kids were screaming. I almost found religion. Having sai...

Re: Robbed!

So in a league of 14 clubs, randomly picked without any evidence, is supposed to show that other clubs might have won something, despite all the other implications like injuries, transfers etc not playing any part? Right, why not take every club except West Ham out and say we won every one. Not sure...

Re: KUMB Awards XXVII: Vote now!

1. Player Of The Year: Jarod Bowen for me. We just don't look a threat without him in the side. He seems to give energy to other players and has been the difference in most games. 2. Young Player Of The Year: George Earthy. Its a shame there aren't more in this category given the success of the yout...

Re: VAR 2023/24

Limit it to three appeals for each side per game. If you get the decision, you retain an appeal. Time out calls, if the clock runs out on a decision, the original call stays. Change the offside rule, so that at least 50% of the player is in an offside decision Handball is handball when there is a de...

If the clubs vote to keep it, I don't want to hear one manager moan about it in a press conference.

I think it will be good for the game if its gone

Re: Things that have taken on an undeserved sense of importance

Bank Holidays. The hysteria around something that happens every year is ridiculous. "Enjoy the Long weekend." It isn't. Its a day off in the week. The weekend remains exactly the same length. "Bank Holiday is a wash out". So if it rains, I must not move from the house or undertak...
