Re: Boxing thread

I still cannot get over what an amazing performance that was. If you go back through this thread all I have ever banged on about is how good Tyson Fury is. I had bad nerves before the fight and almost didn't watch it, it felt like a Ricky Hatton Vegas type of night for me. It was one of the greatest...

It was so he can challenge for the WBO. You can't challenge for it coming off a loss. Liam Smith done the same thing after the Canelo loss so he could fight Williams.

Someone on the comments has said: Whyte: ******ing Hell. Hearn: Alright Mate? Whyte: ******ing hell in it, Jesus Christ bruv. I haven't slept at all the last couple of days. Hearn: Nor have I, but I didn't have to fight. Whyte: ******sake. Hearn: Mate, that was the miracle of all miracles wasn't it?...

Re: Boxing thread

Absolute disgrace from everyone concerned. Hearn, Whyte and the BBBoC all need serious investigating. On a week when two fighters have lost their lives in the ring, if the stories are true, Hearn has allowed a fighter who has tested positive to drugs to fight without even telling the other fighter. ...

First thing i done this morning was look at the odds ha ha Koivula is 11/4 to win and 9/2 by KO. Benn is dreadful and will get stopped sooner or later.

Not that I want him to, but shouldn't Ruiz vacate his IBF for taking the rematch and not a mandatory? Just like Tyson Fury was.......

Re: Boxing thread

Well the bubble has finally burst - I never had Ruiz to be the one to do it, but i did think Ruiz would give him a good fight for 6 rounds or so. The signs have been there for AJ, its just Eddie Hearn kept fooling a lot of the public, but I think a lot of people had seen his weaknesses before this f...
