Should have about 80M left over?
They, allegedly, used a whack of the Rice money to settle a loan. Maybe Kudus and the Greek rely on Paq going?

We've nearly sunk as low as re-signing Carlton Cole the same window we released him.

Re: Summer 2023/24 Transfer Thread

Will be a shame if we miss out on Maguire as I think he'll be a solid signing, but given the choice between us and Villa there's only one sensible decision. I also agree with those saying it's overly negative saying we'll go down. Luton, Sheff Utd, Wolves and Everton will all finish below us regardl...

Re: ⚽ AFC Bournemouth v West Ham Utd: match thread

Pleasantly surprised with the point, 1 closer to safety.

I think on balance 1-1 is a fair result, and we may have had the better chances.

34% possession is painful, and makes for a difficult watch.

I know very little about him, and never seen him play.

But... very happy with the signing - he comes highly rated and the YouTube videos (I know, I know!) suggests he's what we need.

Re: Lucas Paquetá - Our Brazilian Magnifico

If Man City come knocking Paqueta would be mad to not push for it ASAP.

That's regardless of what club he's currently at, let alone this sinking ship.

Re: Next season - are you worried?

I think we as fans are in for a long and frustrating season. One we'll all be very happy to forget. The tactics and game strategy were tired last season, and there's no evidence of Moyes looking to change things up. The transfer window has been a total shambles with more departures expected. We'll h...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I was desperate to see him go earlier in the season, I thought we were dead in the water. I still think back to the countless times he set us up weird, picked strange team and completely baffled me with his game management. But... He's kept us up and more significantly, won us a trophy. Delivered us...

Re: Is West Ham a family club?

It's a tough one to articulate. My dad got given West Ham by my grandad, as he did his dad and so on. The old man gave me and my brothers West Ham, and we've given West Ham to our kids. West Ham connects our family together and across generations in ways nothing else does. Me and my bro, two hairy a...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Here’s a question pre Fulham, who would take a loss today if it meant Moyes was sacked as apposed to winning and him staying? I can never take a West Ham loss, and I really want Moyes gone. I also don't think a defeat today will see him go. The board have already had countless times when any other ...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I've been Moyes out since before the World Cup, and I truly hope this awful result is the straw that breaks the camel's back and he goes. But, it's harsh to totally blame him for tonight. Yes, we can still fault his team selection and game management, but ultimately it's the catalogue of errors that...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Now would be a great time for a new manager to come in.

A free hit on Thursday, 3 weeks with the squad then first proper fixture against a shat Southampton side.
