Watching Southampton the other night, we could do worse than try to bring in Nathan Redmond after a poor Southampton season, especially if we lost Bowen. No idea what they'd want for him though.
You are David Sullivan and I claim my £5.

Re: Does Moyes spend well…

I thought I'd have a look at the previous two managers, Slav and Pellegrini, to see who they'd signed. Given that both Slav and Pellegrini had two summer transfer windows, same as Moyes, it should be a good comparison. All according to transfermarkt: Pellegrini: Haller £45.00m Anderson £34.2m Forna...

1st leg with a bit of luck, although looking at the 23’s it might be Sunday as Alese is playing.

TBF to Puff, Henry Winter is writing in The Times that Man U should offer Lingard to us in the summer as a sweetener to sign Rice.

Puff's finger is closer to the pulse.
Lingard can do as he pleases, Winter is a right weapon.

an everton fan i'm mates with has said this about moyes:
  • he is tight with money
he can only really manage a first 11
he wont win you anything but you'll be safe
Bet he wishes Moyes was there now.

Never listen to anything an Everton fan says, it’s nearly always cobblers.

Re: Does Moyes spend well…

He’s an excellent player without the ball. I feel like we need a passer in there with him to allow him to win it and give it short, either in CM or CB. Rice is an excellent passer. People are basing their opinion on Soucek on his goals nothing else. Nobody works harder than Soucek defensively and h...

If only consider playing Rice at centre back IF we are 3-0 up from the first leg.

On their day, Real are Liverpool's equal.

Then there's the rest of the clubs, in the world, basically.
Real are a world away from Liverpool.

4 first team centre backs is enough, not sure how you keep 5 happy. We’ve just been unfortunate but need to move on. It’s 1 player out in essence, it’s not the end of the world.

There's only one team left in it where I think we'd be the underdogs.
Rangers beat Dortmund who are better than Leipzig. I wouldn’t put it past them to beat Leipzig. It’s a 50-50 game if we get to the Final and it’s Leipzig.

Re: Who Will Beat Us To Top 4?

I’d take 7th and a Europa final right now. 11 v 11 we are the 4th best team in the league without question and we can “gain more points” in the transfer window than the teams around us as we can be improved far more easily.

I’ve just realised we’ve been challenging for the Champions League places in April in 3 of the last 6/7 seasons.
