I've asked before but nobody answered , why do I have to sign in to look at NUMB and certain other boards but I can see The Snug and General Discussion without doing so

Re: Which is hardest

Also re a 147 there is always a chance of getting a kick. PS Must remember that there is actually a chance in Snooker of a 155, should you be left with a freeball. I think Jimmy White had a 155 in an exhibition or practice match. Jimmy’s problem isn’t getting a 147, it’s making sure that his hair d...

Re: Which is hardest

Factors don't change with the original 3 achievements. Don’t they? I appreciate that is the case for the 9 darter as the conditions will always be the same regardless of what my opponent does but the 147? If my opponent breaks and leaves every red ball near a pocket and an unimpeded black (at least...

Re: Which is hardest

I know amateur golfers who have got a hole in one. As pointed out above, once you're able to drive it far enough to go from tee to green on a par 3, you've got a chance at a hole in one by luck. I don't know any amateur snooker players who have achieved a 147 break. Or any amateur darts players who...

I'll throw another one in there as the majority seems to agree the 147 is the hardest...

147 or a hole in one?
A hole in one is way more dependent on luck , once of course you are proficient enough at golf to go from tee to green .

"Return to Sender" would be an apt bumper sticker for the casket.....
Return to Sendo would be better.

I'd quite like to be there when the flatbed lorry rolls up outside his house to unload a succession of dead Kumbers .

Re: Masters Snooker Final

Does Bingham still practise at Rayleigh Lanes Snooker Club?

It's just round the corner from me.

I was wondering if he would appreciate me popping down to give him my views on John Higgins and the perils of betting on your own matches.

Re: Which is hardest

It's hard to say . The odds of getting a single event 9 darter (environmental conditions aside) are pretty much static, yet it doesn't happen very often , it was and remains a pretty rare occurrence. Whilst undoubtedly incredibly hard , if the reds split a certain way in snooker ie room between the ...

Re: Kumbers you’ve wanted to share a pint with

If I was a drinker I'd have pint with any of you, even those I disagree with in NUMB . I'm not actually as aggressive in real life. Ok maybe I am, just not all the time. Too many to mention for my 13 (!!!) years on KUMB but special mentions to DC, Clackers and Pinky (when he's not talking about tax ...

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

Cheers mate. I am more bemused lately than anything else but it's no fun. I've taken the decision to try and ignore it . The alternative is to engage with her in this mood . Last time I did that I suggested she needed professional help and obviously that went down like a lead balloon. And yes she's ...

I'm not impressed. Yeah it's good management and probably the model for how to run a modern club but the ***** are still about 17 points behind Liverpool so they can **** right off.

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

The wife has now not been talking to me for 3 solid days. I even tried to ask her how her day went yesterday and got blanked, she's been having a hard time at work and despite her being a twat, I thought I would see if she was alright. The reason she is not talking to me? Apparently the other night,...

Coz it was Tuesday yesterday... I feel your pain, still so unmotivated! I have been back at work 5 days including today, I reckon I have done 5 hours work tops, if someone checked my PC use all they would find is looking for holidays, KUMB, BBC, Amazon (just looking at buying **** as bored), and ge...

Can you imagine quite how confused your average glory hunting , Class of '92 supporting **** would be if they got relegated? You know, the sort of ****er who answers David Beckham when asked who is the best player to have ever played football

They just wouldn't understand it.

Range Rovers have got a horrific rep reliability wise.

I would stick with German, Jap or Korean.
Still ? Or historically.

I've had a couple of cars from JLR now , admittedly both Jags but both reliable, no problems =
