Re: Top Flight Clubs Fail to Agree EFL Funding Deal
Whilst there are debates to be had about the PL as the 'best league in the world' , I don't think it's open to doubt that it's the most commercially successful. It's a world leader. Regulating it down to the mediocre norm of others isn't just a cost to the football clubs, it's a cost to all those b...

Let me guess, did you hear this around the same time as the Season Ticket Renewal Deadline?EastVillageHammer wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2024 11:57 pm It marries up with what I was told last summer.
I'm not letting myself believe it for a second.

Re: UEFA Europa League 2023-24
Weirdly enough I think there could be an upset or two. Qarabag could be a banana skin for Leverkusen - depending on the Bundesliga and travelling a weaker side may play first leg. Likewise Liverpool may have an eye on the leagueBubbles Fortuna wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2024 11:26 am A shame the three favourites drew the three weakest teams.

Would rather they dealt with the issues with Greater Anglia trains/rail replacements for home matches first! Always seem to be fine on the weekends when we are not at home...

To let yet another opportunity like this pass is unfathomable.
Cornet and Ings the attacking bench options. I can barely type the words….

Latest Hammers United minutes.Relevant to this debate on fan engagement. https://hammersunited.com/hammers-united-meeting-minutes-23-1-24/ Thanks for that, one thing really disappointments me (and HU) with this "2: “That elections must be held as laid down in the ISC’s own terms.” Chair report...

Re: January transfer window
Klopp leaving could really impact the window. Will players now want to leave if Klopp is going or will it prevent them getting players if knowing a new manager may not favour them - if so will it open other clubs up to signings that may have been unavailable (look at when we chased Nunez for example)

Thank you for the great update and congratulations on the position - you already seem to be doing what everyone has been wanting, being as transparent as possible and I'm sure you'll represent the fans properly

Re: January transfer window
Presumably the 'No Option to Buy' would suggest that the player would like to be able to go back to Leeds should they gain promotion. Could also be that City may want to use this as an opportunity to get him in the shop window and no option was agreed in case he does well and his value soars as a r...

Lots of doom on this thread? Sheffield United are awful. You’re capable of winning this. How dare you try and be rational and positive about Sunday - THE END IS NIGH! I think we'd have been a bit more positive had we not lost on Tuesday, however that match highlighted certain weaknesses in t...

So let me me get this right - We have a Supporters Trust that barely has any supporters, let alone Trust - An Away ST rep who who appears to be permanently away from their emails - A disabled supporters group who won't support their fans (literally in the case of seating for the shuttle bus queue) -...

Shame about the pen miss however Benny has been doing well with them so understand him taking them. Let's not let that take away how well the whole team did tonight. Every player on the pitch put in the hard work and the result shows it - some backs to the wall defending and a bit of luck however so...

Re: Fan Engagement Plan: WHUST respond to criticism (see page 10)
Great article, and raises a number of great points. For any HU committe member, would Hammers United consider becoming a Supporters Trust in order to meet that 'golden share' criteria or is that not possible? Secondly, if HU became a Trust, who would hold the golden share - one group with thousands ...

Re: West Ham United v Wolverhampton Wanderers: match thread
Exactly. No real benefit. Even worse when rules had and still have to be changed, to get VAR working. Like the hand ball rule for example. Next they'll bring in sin bins, to give VAR even more power. They'll try to take "tactical fouls" out of the game. Because them breaking flow of the g...
