I wouldn't have thought so, what with the abundance of recording devices, particularly on mobile phones.

Re: Making hip-hop - advice needed
Sounds great! I use Reaper mostly, never felt the need to upgrade. But I'm a bit fussy about vocals, need a proper mic to capture the plosives in rap and spoken word stuff imho. Lewitt 240 or if you're feeling a bit more flush, go for the 440 Pure. Easily the best vocal mics for the budget consciou...

I was there too. The wife loves them but I thought they were 'effin' dogshit. Couldn't wait for it to end. Even the missus thought they were boring.Junco Partner wrote: ↑Sat Mar 30, 2024 12:15 pm £40.00 for The Jesus & Mary Chain at the Roundhouse last night....bargain.

Done.
I would have added a "no opinion" or "don't care" option to some of the questions.
Just a suggestion.

DH Gate. I bought an early 80s replica from them and it was pretty decent. Sizing is a bit off so I'd buy a size up but they have everything. Word of warning, don't download the app.

I wouldn't worry too much, apparently white supremacy is the biggest threat at the moment.

From personal experience I can recommend a Jack Russell, they're fearless little ****ers who'll destroy everything in their path.

Yep, expensive to say the least, however pet insurance is the way to go in order to stave off them huge bills.

There's a basic flaw in that statement in that one person's idea of being a see you next Tuesday may not be another person's.

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).
Currently reading a book called The Little Book of Stoicism by Jonas Salzberger and can honestly say in the short time of reading it, it really has changed my outlook on virtually everything. I'm not one for enthusing about something like this but it really has helped my mental health immensely in t...

Am annoyed with myself for not piping up and suggesting they pick their cars up in the morning. I wouldn't bother. You'd be the biggest shithouse in the pub in their eyes for pointing out their stupidity. Never understood that. Why risk it, even for the ae of your license, never mind your kids lives?

Re: Things you've always wanted to know......
Before I went off to Uni, the chef / owner of the place gave me a polystyrene cup full of monosodium glutemate (MSG). For those that are unaware, this is a flavour enhancer and present in quite a lot of foods....particularly Chinese. In fact that Uncle Roger character is always going on about it. G...

Re: Things you've always wanted to know......
Having worked in both Chinese and Indian takeaways, I'd say prawn crackers - they start life as little 10p piece sized plastic looking discs, thrown into boiling oil then just expand until hooked out. Poppadums seem slightly less artificial. Dude, you need to share some secrets on recipes and the s...

Re: Migrants crossing the Channel
Bottom line is the government don't want to send them back or indeed stop them coming over. It keeps the illusion of a high GDP up because they've had an economical model of low wages/cheap labour since before Cameron was in power. Nobody in parliament wants to stop the boats, not really to the poin...

Re: Newcastle Utd v West Ham Utd - Match Thread
Anyone who thinks Dan Burns shoulder barge on Kudus where he made no attempt to get the ball and was not in possession of it is everything wrong with modern football. Exactly. The double standards, incompetence and inconsistency with VAR is rapidly making me fall out of love with the game. I've bee...
