Re: F A Cup 3rd Round draw

I recall two games here in the Championship.
One was really hot and one it snowed and Defoe was stupidly sent off.

Fylde?
Carlisle would be furthest away, I've never seen us play there and it's a proper football ground where we'd get a decent allocation.

Re: ⚽ Chelsea v West Ham United: Match thread (30/11)

Bringing in David Martin changed the mood of the crowd and the team and that was the key to a deserved victory. I thought Rice was superb today, going forward with the ball more than usual. Most blatant kicking away of the ball I think I’ve ever seen, Creswell drop kicking it into the crowd. Is the ...

Re: ⚽ Chelsea v West Ham United: Match thread (30/11)

I now have my ticket thanks to helpful people at Chelsea’s ticket office and person they called at West Ham to confirm my details.

Ticket hasn't arrived.
Do you think West Ham will issue a duplicate if I go to our ticket office in the morning?

Re: Away tickets 2019 / 2020 season

I've noticed that when seats are empty at away games they tend to be quite a few together (eg. row in front of us at Everton) which suggests they have been allocated together and not taken up, rather than a fan or two buying for the point and not attending.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

Today’s search experience. Steward found my friend’s metal refillable water bottle and questioned it. Called over supervisor who said it was OK to take it as it as my friend owned it so wouldn’t throw it. Friend suggested that stewards should have been made aware that it was OK to bring these in. Su...

Wolves ticket arrived today.

Purple Tuesday - Well Done West Ham

Well done to West Ham for this initiative which will make things easier for some supporters with disabilities. Some of the youngsters who attended the launch yesterday are members of a youth club for young people with additional needs, where I help on Tuesday evenings. They were so excited to have b...

Usually they give a choice of upper or lower tier. People have different preferences. Seems strange to change this.

Re: Going nowhere, going through the motions, going at all?

I didn’t go today. Enjoyed an excellent game between Torquay & Barrow. A game where both teams were fighting hard to fulfil their ambition to get back into the football league. Stood on a terrace with a much better atmosphere than the Olympic Stadium. West Ham don’t have the ambition to win anything...

Re: The lies that tarnished West Ham's good name

I would suggest that the two matters need to be separated. Did we break the rules? Yes. We were fined for this. Did us breaking the rules result in Sheffield United’s relegation? No. The overall effect of Tevez & Mascherano was negative. Their signing unsettled a good team, Mascsherano hardly played...

Re: Subbuteo

I spend many many hours playing Subbuteo in my childhood. Games and competitions with friends. My own leagues with all my teams. Everton, Man Utd, West Ham, England, Celtic, Birmingham, another West Ham, and I think another that I can’t remember. Many matches with my brother – always 45 minutes plus...

I posted a photo on Twitter showing how if I sat down my view was blocked by a police officer standing next to us. It was taken just after the announcement asking us to sit down. Karen, you are welcome to follow me on Twitter to view it, but you may not agree with some of my opinions.

It’s a long time since we had 7.30pm Kick offs.
They used to be the norm for evening games but changed to 7.45 in the 1980s I think.
