Re: Away tickets 2019 / 2020 season

There were quite a few empty seats at Leicester. Notably not odd ones where people might not have been able to make it, stood elsewhere, or potentially purchased just to get the point. There were about 50 in four rows almost empty in front of us. I assume that they were held back for the Club as a c...

I wonder if this will encourage the club not to take the full allocation.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Will be interesting to see whether West Ham try to get their stewards to confiscate banners at Liverpool as they did at Watford & Brighton. It will be a big own goal if they do.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Some of these songs are very clever but we just need something that is short and clear, otherwise others will not know what we're singing. I couldn't pick up the words of the song being sung on the concourse at Leicester at half time and there's no way that TV viewers would - in the same way we coul...

Our two games in hand could actually drop us into bottom three with heavy defeats that are quite possible.

Re: Away tickets 2019 / 2020 season

Man City now available on 2 points - so here’s chance for those who struggle to get away tickets.

Surely we’ve sold more than 1500 and the club have taken the extra allocation without updating the website.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Some of the songs about Brady could be deemed as offensive (well obviously they are) which the club or press could use against the protesters. Would it not be better to be more specific and perhaps question the million pound bonus for her part in the debacle that is the Olympic Stadium. Maybe we cou...

Re: Away tickets 2019 / 2020 season

Bought tickets for Man City this morning with 28 & 13 points. Block 313.
Looks as if either sales were much slower than we expected or the club have taken further tickets without announcing it.

Re: Sheffield away: travel and safety

Yep, think it was the Graduate where the OB blocked off both ends just outside the pub so you had no option but to go where and when they wanted. They walked us there so slowly that we missed kick off too although we wanted to leave much earlier It’s almost like they wanted to cause trouble themsel...

Re: Sheffield away: travel and safety

Usual case of huge number of police but concentrated too much right outside the ground. They seem to work on being mobile which means they arrive after the event. Road leading to roundabout and underpasses was going to be a flashpoint. Fortunately horses arrived quickly to break up the main trouble....

Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread

We were too slow and too negative but a draw would have been a fair result.
VAR has to go - football is an instant game not suited to decisions made after the goal.

@SUFC_Police: #WestHam fans arriving by train should head straight to The Howard or The Globe, where away fans will be served.

SYP telling us what to do on twitter.

SHOULD????
Surely MAY.

Just had the auto cup ticket payment taken too. £15 really ain’t bad for band 3, agreed Cottee.
Same here. And soon we'll have two priority points - the same as for our combined evening trips to Sheffield United & Leicester (or Liverpool).

Re: Sheffield away: travel and safety

If they really care about the fans and not empty gestures they’ll announce free coaches for Liverpool too as there are no trains back from there. And they’ll announce it when tickets go on sale not three days before the match when every has made arrangements or decided not to attend.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

The biggest problem is the stadium but if measured against the ten objectives GS&B have achieved what they said they would do. I think the focus should be that neither the stadium nor the investment meet anything like what we were promised. 'World class stadium for a world class team' etc. etc. The ...
