What an utterly pathetic and inadequate ‘punishment’. In virtually every other sport Athletes or Teams caught cheating are stripped of their Olympic/World or Domestic Titles. Why should it be different for Rugby Union?

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

I hope the kid suceeds, but I reckon I've seen a worm with more back-bone than Fornals. He just looks too lightweight right now. Wouldn't want either of them alongside me in the trenches, but given his history with Spurs fans, Wilshere might at least be motivated to show a bit of fighting spirit for...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

I’m really not sure what’s been missed about “ Based on current availability: ”? :? Last I heard Noble was injured, so I put Wilshere in there ( though actually in hindsight Snodgrass has a case too ). If Noble is fit, then my information was wrong and yes I’d have no hesitation about our skipper pl...

Mostly due to the lack of Noble who tends to play like the actual Pirlo and tear their midfield a new arse'ole whenever we play them.
Noble’s injured isn’t he?

Pretty sure Spurs would destroy that side with an injured Noble in it..?

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

My biggest issue with Pelle is his stubborn persistence with playing a flat back 4: • It’s been proven time & again our CBs are far more comfortable playing in a 3 • Fredericks and Arthur are perfectly suited to playing as Wing-Backs, but get exposed as Full-Backs • Our midfield desperately needs th...

Re: Not so Super Mario

Up until our recent run of horrendous form, everyone was praising him for the great work he had done, bringing players in. :eh: Not me Guv! I really don't know if these were ultimately his decisions or not, but I found all of the below absolutely baffling: Prioritising yet another Attacking Midfiel...

Re: All time England XI

Just so embarrassing. 3 strikers and no Defensive Midfielder.. Most top nations would love to play against that midfield, they'd cut through like a hot knife in butter. Obviously most are too young to have seen Tom Finney, Stan Matthews, Duncan Edwards, Billy Wright, etc but even I know they s...

Not so Super Mario

Mario Husillos. According to rumours this guy's position is under threat. He's made some truly terrible signings, and I know the Málaga CF fans think he's an appalling DoF - they warned us about him, and almost universally blamed him for their relegation in 2017-18, from which they still haven't rec...

The first game back up at home against Blackburn, I thought he was absolutely top drawer ! Shame he got carried away with himself as he should have been an England regular. Top talent.

Yep – exactly as I mentioned: great in his 1st Premier League season, then turns to $hit..

Re: January

Behrami – just one of so many, many players who have been fantastic for us… for their first Premier League season only, or until they suffer their first significant injury. Then for that 2nd season, or injury return, they inevitably turn to complete $hit. Behrami, Song, Cresswell, Ilunga, Konchesky...

Its impossible to judge this player given how the season is going. I still believe he was bought as a replacement for Noble.
It's far more urgent to buy a long overdue upgrade on Kouyate. Someone like a Dacoure, Gueye or a modern day Alex Song (before his injury).

quite a few on here said that we didn't need no headless chicken running around in the midfield and if Pellers didn't want one, that was good enough for them
Please do point out where I said anything about signing a 'headless chicken'.. :eh:

Re: Pablo Fornals

This should be the signing that gets Husillos the sack. Everyone knows we desperately needed a replacement for Kouyate, the last thing we needed was another lightweight!

Our midfield has zero backbone. Where's the Box-To-Box midfield general?

Cheating Saracens

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/50300756 As an Exeter Chiefs fan ( the best run & only profitable club in the Premiership ) I've been angry about this for years. Everyone's known about it and it taken this long for Saracens to finally be held accountable. The Fine and the 30 point deduction...

Re: Cresswell or Masuaku?

Like I said on a previous page, I think Cresswell being homegrown must be an important factor. It's all very well "upgrading" your remaining few homegrown stars, but unless we're spunking £70m on a Ben Chilwell, prolificly producing top-quality players in our Academy, or plucking out gems from the ...
