Been a long time since I logged into this site, longer since I was able to look in this thread and today I felt I needed to.

I'm beyond words.
My thoughts go out to you guys and I can only offer you best in all this.
Keep talking and hopefully in some small way it will help or help will find you.

Re: Coronavirus

Landlords banned from issuing eviction notices for 3 months In France it’s a rent break, here, it’s 3 months to stay alive and deal with the worry of the threat of eviction at the end of it. Or am I reading that wrong??? He said they were putting in place something for workers affected by this and ...

Re: Coronavirus

How long before the world starts demanding some form of reparations from China for all this malarkey? Even if this thing blows over quite quickly and doesn't turn out as bad as expected I can see it taking a fair while before things return to normal for rest of the world / Chinese relations...........

Re: Netflix and Amazon Video

Altered Carbon Season Two. Was always going to be a tough transition from one to two as it is a different world, different circumstances and a different actor playing the same person. Two episodes in and I'm not hooked but intrigued to see where it goes as I am already a fan. I imagine for the casu...

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

Many of us have been in that pit and come out the other side and it's easy to talk about it once you are through it. But it's easy to forget just how desperate it seemed when we were in there. It's always worth keeping going, and no-one would be better off if any of us would be gone. A very poignan...

Re: Netflix and Amazon Video

Indeed, who knew! dare I say he tried to Al Pacino the role, there were similarities how Pacino would have played it - might just be me Was a decent watch but I found it a very busy/loud film and a lot going on pretty much all the time, by the end of the film I was knackered. I appreciate AS was pl...

Uncut Gems.

Who knew Adam Sandler could act?
Really tense and uncomfortable, but a good watch.

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

Hi everyone. Been a while. As I write this i am watching my mum die. After two years she has finally called it a day and declined treatment other than morphine. She has acute luekemia. My Dad (a hammer of course) hasn't left her side. I sit next to his empty seat most games. Me? Nausea and strange ...

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

Perfectly natural Rio, whilst not a direct comparison, I have sympathy. In 2012 I stepped over a rabbit run I had built in the garden and tore some muscles in my upper tight/groin. Since then I have not been able to run properly (combined with two shot knees) and my mobility is up and down. Doctors ...

Bad Boys For Life.
Everything you'd expect really.
Cheesy comedy, lashings of explosions, thin plot.
Good fun though.

Re: The Star Wars Thread - May the Force be with us (Spoilers!)

Personally I think the overriding problem with the final trilogy is that Disney, for all the money they threw at it, didn't really know what to do with it. Apologies if this has been said before. The original trilogy, once the Episode IV had it's success, had a clear arc and a story to tell. The red...

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

Wolfy, Don't ever think your kids don't need you. One year just passed the anniversary of my life going tits up and the New Year has kicked off with a leaking boiler and a cracked chimney in my house (where my wife lives) that has damaged next door, my wiper motor has packed up on my car and it's pi...

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

Thank you TTS, I appreciate your words immensely.
Been told off by my friends for my solo Xmas plans and several people have thrown open their doors and shown a lot of love so I am going to spend the day and night with my none blood family after spending the early part of the day with the kids.

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

Thanks guys.
It took a lot to get the separation agreement out of her and apart from having to wait for my payday I got everything I wanted and she can't change any of it without my say so or going to court.

Much love to you all.

now you're faced with her moving to her new partner's house and taking your children with her which is 35 miles away ? Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

Also, I know it's relative and all that, but 35 miles is not a big distance dude. Maybe it seems that way but it is not an insurmountable distance between which to maintain an important relationship. I have 50/50 custody of my children so I have them seven days out of fourteen split in a 2-2-3 patt...
