Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

I think our next DoF appointment is much more important than the next managerial appointment.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

I think many people would like to think that is true, but in reality I think not. Regardless of what the supporters feel, I think the last thing on a potential Manager for West Ham mind, is our board. On the face of it they pay pretty well, let them have their own coaching team, have a decent squad...

So if it's not motivational ability, tactical brilliance or player recruitment can anybody explain why he's paid £7m a year please?

That's £146k per week, £21k per day.

Thank you.
Because no one wants to work for Sullivan that isn't desperate?

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

If Anderson is offski, would people welcome Grealish?

Seems to have matured significantly, definitely skillful and a good contributor defensively.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

I think it's a difficult position for us to replace (Left mid). To get the best out of Haller, I reckon we need an inside forward type player, in the Richarlison vein. But at the moment I think we need a hard working tradition left winger, like Fraser. Not getting a more forward thinking left sided ...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Would prefer we went for someone like Ryan Fraser, should Anderson be sold.

Not kidding. He's made at least 2 glaring errors, one which could have been on par with Roberto's OG imo.

Re: ⚽ Chelsea v West Ham United: Match thread (30/11)

Really disappointed with Anderson. Whilst everyone else seems to have upped their intensity, he remains a wall flower. This would be acceptable if he created chances like Payet, but he doesn't, so a minimum requirement is chasing and harrying. Martins isn't filling me with much more confidence than ...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Well, it's quite evident that we've moved backwards instead of forwards, so maybe we need a backwards thinking manager like Dyche.

Can't wait :asleep:

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Personally, I'd go for a midfield of Noble, Snodders, Sanchez and a back 4 of Johnson, Ogbonna, Rice and Fredericks.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

I really don't get the hate for Sanchez on here from some.
For me, he's generally been "fine" relative to his position in the squad.
In fact, I'd be tempted to start him next match.

Re: West Ham United v Tottenham Hotspur: Match Thread 23/11/2019

He won a couple of headers that went nowhere. He is about 6ft 3 so should be able to do that Every 50/50 on the floor he was beaten to and everyone he got the ball to feet he mis controlled it or gave it straight away. FWIW I think he had a poor game, but you said he did nothing. I just watched bac...

He didn't do one thing. Got beaten to every 50/50.

Re: West Ham United v Tottenham Hotspur: Match Thread 23/11/2019

Next games I would try

Anderson - Haller - Antonio (with Antonio playing a lot closer to Haller)
Snodgrass - Noble - Sanchez
Johnson - Ogbonna, Rice, Fredericks

Roberto.

How about stop posting tweets and sort the website out. Amateur server issues. New website is horrific - no offence
They've already said they're gonna bin the new hosts if it continues, but knowing when would help.
