Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

At its worse it’s a strategy to seed negativity and hatred of the manager amongst the fan base At its most weakest its idiots who think they can read body language and read the players minds and therefore know what that the players think We had it numerous times last season peddled by the tools on ...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Who cares what other fans think? They will only see that he has us as European contenders season on season who buys and manages players who are pursued by PL title contenders. All whilst on a shoe string.

They don't know.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I'm struggling to understand the thought process behind the Board deliberately sabotaging/withholding funds from the current manager, who has delivered Europe on 3 consecutive seasons and was on pace for a fourth.. to then give those funds to a new manager when we may not be in Europe. That's not a ...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Alright, I'll just accept you can't articulate what you actually want then. Our aspiration should be to have an elite training ground. We’ve been dining out on the self proclaimed academy of football motto for way too long. We never spend any real money on infrastructure. A proper scouting network, ...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Should go the distance in cup competitions and get to the business end more regularly. Regular top 6 contenders or in the vicinity of every season. Play entertaining football. We’re not in good company with our low block moyesball. That would be a good start. His questions were: What league positio...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Well, it's not JUST January, it's successive windows where we've missed out on players that the manager himself has spoken about publicly. It's a lose lose for Moyes though - bring in a player he's been "offered" who doesn't perform and he will get slaughtered for buying ineffective and ex...

Re: ✍️ Welcome Lucas Paquetá - Our Brazilian Magnifico

I wonder if his lack of discipline and recent displays of petulance will deter Pep from actually going for him. He won't get the same leeway at City that he does here. He's out of form though, that's for sure and is making mistakes. Unfortunate timing, but too early to say he isn't playing for the b...

Re: West Ham United vs Fulham FC - Sunday 14 April - 2pm

Season is more than likely done now. If only Antonio could have hit the target in the first minutes of the game. Hope the young lad recovers well. Positives: We have ample time to prepare for next season. The European game next week likely dictates the funds that will be available in the summer whic...

We're a stepping stone for a player like him, hence the release clause.

Just need to ensure we reinvest wisely. I trust Moyes & TS to do so.

Re: Midweek Games April 9-11

What a different proposition we would have been if we had managed to signed Barnes.

Barnes, Bowen, Kudus, Paqueta, Antonio

Can't think of many better forward lines than that.
