Re: Season ticket renewal 24/25

It's absolutely heartbreaking being a West Ham fan. What is the amount of money the club gets per year off of Sky and Premier league, I think it's in the region of £400 million pounds??? Why do they need to put up the prices by the amount they are? If they run the club so badly that they need more ...

Re: Declan Rice

I think it grates with most people that he wasn't straight about it all, he was leading on the fans conducting the one more year song, and made himself front and centre of the trophy parade - as someone else said, do what Rob Green did when he knew he was offski and just let the people who were sti...

Re: Season ticket renewal 24/25

Can we stop peddling the myth that the increase is necessary. Its a choice, by ours and other clubs. Ask how it is German football fans get to watch their teams for much lower prices. This article provides some context, that it isn't quite as simple as that, but prices are going up anyway and they ...

Re: Declan Rice

Declan Rice cares most about Declan Rice's bank account. He doesn't care about West Ham, he doesn't care about Arsenal. (He didn't care about Ireland). He is a great player and he makes the right noises when interviewed. But he is a professional and will go where is best for him. I hate Arsenal, I ...

Re: Declan Rice

No, we need to sell the right players, for the right price, and reinvest it back in. Declan Rice was not one of those such players. We had no choice but to sell, because Rice himself forced our hand, and then forced our hand again as to the destination. You don't move forwards as a club by constant...

Re: Does anybody know someone that does airport transfers?

Cheers mate, I'm write by a Liz Line station but i'm taking my parents with me and we need to be there at 0630 so taxi is only option. I've had some mental phone calls today trying to sort it out. I reckon £200 return is about right. £220 including a drink, maybe . Not £300+ though, surely?! 5.06 f...

Depedns what media you consume
TalkSport have been bigging up Bowen's claims, as have the Mirror and Daily Mail

Re: ✍ Welcome, Jarrod Bowen

Bowen will get in the squad, IMHO, due to his versatility across the front line, his energy and stamina, and the fact he is used to playing in a counter attacking style, which will be very useful in certain situations i.e we are looking to protect a lead He won't start any of the games (unless a dea...

Re: England -v- Brazil & then -v- Belgium

Saka has 11 goals in about 30 games for England He is considered one of the best in the world in his position, and is used to playing a possession style that England generally play He is nailed on first choice on the right wing, and rightly so Bowen will get in the squad, IMHO, due to his versatilit...

Re: England -v- Brazil & then -v- Belgium

Bowen looked like he belonged at international level last night, I thought he was excellent. That Mainoo is going to be some player, fazed by nothing and wants to go forward. The defence though... Stones is decent, but that seems to be it. Centre back is a massive problem, and you can see why South...

Re: England -v- Brazil & then -v- Belgium

This is the squad I think he will pick (barring injuries) and assuming Shaw won't be fit

Pickford
Ramsdale
Johnstone
Walker
Trippier
Chilwell
Konsa
Guehi
Maguire
Stones
TAA
Rice
Hendo
Mainoo
Maddison
Bellingham
Foden
Grealish (or Gordon if Grealish not deemed fit)
Bowen
Saka
Rashford
Kane
Toney

Re: England -v- Brazil & then -v- Belgium

MM - I have know idea why you seem so concerned Southgate wants to leave Bowen out?
He has been in all the last few squads and has had pretty decent playing time.
Bowen is an archetypal Southgate player with his versatility and ability to play in a system.

Barring injuries or some dramatic loss of form,, Bowen is a certainty for the squad IMHO

I think Southgate really appreciates him

Stones
Walker
Maguire
Shaw
Trippier
Alexander Arnold

All ahead of these and Tomori should be as well
