Re: Does anybody know someone that does airport transfers?
Cheers mate, I'm write by a Liz Line station but i'm taking my parents with me and we need to be there at 0630 so taxi is only option. I've had some mental phone calls today trying to sort it out. I reckon £200 return is about right. £220 including a drink, maybe . Not £300+ though, surely?! 5.06 f...

TalkSport have been bigging up Bowen's claims, as have the Mirror and Daily Mail

Re: ✍ Welcome, Jarrod Bowen
Bowen will get in the squad, IMHO, due to his versatility across the front line, his energy and stamina, and the fact he is used to playing in a counter attacking style, which will be very useful in certain situations i.e we are looking to protect a lead He won't start any of the games (unless a dea...

Re: England -v- Brazil & then -v- Belgium
Saka has 11 goals in about 30 games for England He is considered one of the best in the world in his position, and is used to playing a possession style that England generally play He is nailed on first choice on the right wing, and rightly so Bowen will get in the squad, IMHO, due to his versatilit...

Re: England -v- Brazil & then -v- Belgium
Bowen looked like he belonged at international level last night, I thought he was excellent. That Mainoo is going to be some player, fazed by nothing and wants to go forward. The defence though... Stones is decent, but that seems to be it. Centre back is a massive problem, and you can see why South...

Re: England -v- Brazil & then -v- Belgium
MM - I have know idea why you seem so concerned Southgate wants to leave Bowen out?
He has been in all the last few squads and has had pretty decent playing time.
Bowen is an archetypal Southgate player with his versatility and ability to play in a system.

Barring injuries or some dramatic loss of form,, Bowen is a certainty for the squad IMHO
I think Southgate really appreciates him

This defence is pribabky 3rd or 4th choice in each position
Stones
Walker
Maguire
Shaw
Trippier
Alexander Arnold
Guehi
All ahead of these and Tomori should be as well

Re: We're Number Two!
Arsenal definitely count tickets sold rather than people in the ground when they calculate attendance, and I think most clubs do that
I am sure i read somewhere that Spurs were one of the only clubs not to do that (and that was when they were at WHL)

Re: Declan Rice
I also think he'll end the season with either the Champions League or Premier League, Arsenal are no mugs this season, and that's because Rice has elevated them another level. I don't think they will win either this season (because of man city), but i do think they will win either of them in the co...

Re: Declan Rice
I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I'm proud of him. I think he genuinely does his best to be a model pro and a good role model. Which is more than can be said for many footballers out there. I don't think he always makes the best decision, nor does he always do exactly the right thing, but I t...

Re: England -v- Brazil & then -v- Belgium
On the Mainoo only getting a call because he’s from Man U thing, it’s possibly true that he’s getting an opportunity at 18 that a player from Palace or Bournemouth might not get, but not necessarily for totally spurious reasons. I’m sure there’s always an internal discussion before selecting inexpe...

Re: England -v- Brazil & then -v- Belgium
True enough. Loftus-Cheek seems to be playing very well in Serie A.. Ross Barkley even seems to be in form, but perhaps not in the same position, and playing for the unfashionable Luton. Does anyone know why Tomori never seems to be in the squad? He's technically one of our best defenders but he ne...
