How anyone can say that wasn't a deliberate touch by the Liverpool defender is beyond me.
Konate slid in to get the ball. It then comes off Fabinho.

I’m utterly dumbfounded.

Fabinho's touch isn't deliberate so it's not offside.
But it was Konate’s tackle that played the ball into Fabinho? How many touches does it take to become deliberate?

Re: The Champions League Final

It’s come off two Liverpool players. That’s a disgraceful decision.

Re: Welcome Tomas Soucek

If it is contract related and the right offer came in then I'd sell. For footballing reasons not so much... https://twitter.com/guardian_sport/status/1529514953660583938?t=mWJqtjR-nkq5ahA1APDTSQ&s=19 Articles like this do my nut. He’s got two more years with an option of a third. Just don’t do ...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

Is there any reason the figure of £50m got attached so definitively to Watkins’ name? Or is it just that that was the number we bid for half the premier league in the last week of January? I believe early on in the rumours that was the number attached to the reports of what it “would take” for Vill...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

I wouldn't say he excelled, more that he showed great potential. Aguerd has been playing to a consistent level for 4 seasons now, in a small club and in one of the clubs fighting for Europe every season. I am more confident about him than I have ever been about Diop. 100%. I should’ve quoted YorksH...

He was made club captain and played over 80 times but they were a relegation threatened team for most of his time there so excelled would be putting it strongly I think
Yeah, he wasn’t quite at the level Aguerd is.

Season is starting much earlier this year. There is more pressure to get stuff done sooner.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

Football Insider claim there's been a falling out between Soucek and Moyes. Due to the source, take with a big pinch of salt. https://www.footballinsider247.com/west-ham-soucek-moyes-sources/ That's got to be a case of 2+2=5. First the little rumour of a contact stalemate, then the rumour we'll lis...

Probably worth noting that the league campaign starts one week earlier than normal this season - Aug 6th/7th.

Re: Europa Conference League 22-23

Funny one last night, it didn't really feel like a major european cup final like the Rangers Vs Frankfurt game did. Im not sure whether it was down to the fact there was no British teams in it, or an unnecessarily small stadium or mourinho's boring tactics but it just felt like a pre season competi...

Delighted we've got a deal done. LCB was a huge issue when we lost Ogbonna. Onwards to the next one.
