Me and my mate both had £30 on over 3.5 goals in that game. We made a fair few hundred quid between us :crossed:

First time in his career he's not made the European semi-final when involved in the tournament.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

While I agree that the football purist revisionism about the club tends to grate, for me the side is a worse watch now than a couple of seasons ago. We have some better individuals who are match winners but the team isn't fluid and a lot of the execution is poor. Several of the statistic categories...

Unfortunately, no matter the subject matter, you're always going to get vitriol on Twitter/X, because people are just allowed to shout into the void without repercussions.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

It's taking years to get rid of the dross that Pellegrini lumbered DM with. Eh? Aside from Fornals and Fabianksi, everyone else is long gone. Haller, Anderson, Diop, Yarmolenko, Ajeti, Perez, Balbuena, Fredericks, Wilshere, Sanchez, Nasri and Martin. Can't exactly say they've been preventative in a...

After entering every ballot this season I think i've actually won one for the Chelsea game. How long until it shows on my account? as until its in there I won't believe it! The money comes out immediately, that should let you know if you got one  The ticket itself might not show up, but in yo...

While it wasn't an issue having away fans in the home end last Thursday in Leverkusen. Quite so, massive double standards I know, but whilst we all find it hilarious and brilliant when West Ham appear in home ends (see Freiburg when a pocket of about 40 stood up with 15 minutes to go and sta...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

Steidten wasn't the Sporting Director at Leverkusen. X You got that one wrong, unfortunately. He also wasn't responsible for the decision to pick the manager at Leverkusen, nor had he the authority. The decision went via Head of Sport Simon Rolfes and the club boss, who's a Spaniard as well, Fernan...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

Did he do this job at Leverkusen? I believe he was responsible for transfers, Head of Scouting I think they called it before Sporting Director. Same job titles he had at for Bremen before them. But he may have got a "promotion" when he joined West Ham. Worth noting that it was Steidten wh...

I get the idea but thats some job he's got. All the power and none of the responsibility. The in/out threads on here could set new records of tedious finger pointing lol. True! You won't need to tell the coach how to play when you hire the coach who chooses to play the way the club (or Steidten) wants. But I get your point.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

By improvements what exactly do you mean? Personally I don't believe there is any realistic prospect of us improving on where we are currently without an implosion of two or more of the current top four You don't think we could do what Newcastle or Villa have done, or are doing, and qualify for the...
