Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

I know we are desperate for a new centre mid, but I just can't see a manager as experienced as Moyes dropping his club captain and replacing him with an untested box to box midfielder in a relegation battle.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

I think we're edging towards some kind of realisation of what these players are. We have a bunch of old stagers, injury ravaged players and a few you wouldn't trust to stand up to a puff of wind. We have a squad built for 2010. Most of the damage was done under Pellegrini. We need a ruthless ****. ...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Hopefully that's the end of the Lanzini behind Haller experiment. It's been awful every time he's tried it. I feel sorry for Moyes with the squad the way it is, but his use of Fornals so far has been a massive black mark against him for me. The lad looked like he was just getting going and looking g...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

How much realistically would you pay for Lanzini? Looks like his best days are past and the injuries have took their toll. I think he's been bang average for years. Had a decent spell when Payet was here, but always been lazy, can't pass for ****, dives, no power in shots or crosses. He's decent in...

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

Exactly, at least look like you are half trying. Mr West Ham seriously... We'll see if the "Don't run, don't play" applies to him. He's been the worst culprit for a while now. Got to think that's why the Lanzini's, Anderson's, Yarmolenko's etc stop doing the hard work. They can't be bollocked by th...

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

If anyone catches the replay of their goal today on SSN, just watch the different reactions from Rice and Noble. Rice sprinting, Noble jogging, and it's a stretch to call it a jog, and then appealing for offside.

You just can't get away with that.

I seriously haven't seen him make a sprint all season. He just jogs around. You are right about the Lanzini chance, got his position all wrong.

Good finish for the offside though.
Lanzini made it a non chance.

Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread

Our shape is better but our deficiencies were exposed ....Our defence don’t look confident with the ball when we try and play out from the back ....Balbuena in particular....tends to play a long ball to Haller in hope ....also our midfield don’t help them with out balls As pointed out constantly on...

Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread

I'm happy with the performance for where we are at the minute. That would have been 3-0 under Pellers. Barring the Martin **** up, we looked fairly solid. We also had some great chances. All this while we were effectively 2 players down in Noble and Lanzini. We lost the game because Lanzini, Anderso...

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

He was absolutely ***** tonight. He could not compete at all. We can not get away with him in midfield anymore. Hopefully that will be an eye opener for people that he got the run around by 3 middle of the road, bang average midfielders. I think this also shows we don't have to go out and spend £50m...

Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread

That’s a back 5 We are quite literally back to where we were 2 years ago I’d be amazed if we score a goal tonight we’ve shown we are there to be bullied and this Sheffield United side is one of the most physical sides the premier league has seen in recent years I don't think he has a choice. We are...

Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread

I'm a fan of 3 at the back, but baffled by Lanzini. Seems the type of game he'll get bullied and be on the floor half the time. Think we could have done with Diop in there as well.

We'll see.

We need a proper back up keeper, a striker and a center midfielder
Snodgrass is 32. If we can get Fraser in on a free as a replacement, I'd be more than happy.

A truly perfect start

More of the same please - beyond the effort and performance - the bloke connecting with players at the end and during substitutions was a serious breath of fresh air
This.

I didn't realise how many of the basics Pellegrini wasn't doing.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Superb performance and great to see that he spotted straight away that Anderson needs to play higher up the pitch. All this sitting deep on the left was driving me mad under Pellers. I thought Anderson was excellent, him and Fornals never gave them a second on the ball. Top work. It was nice to see ...

Hopefully Moyes is in Fraser's ear sounding out a move. That would be a great signing for us on a free.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Love how West Ham fans want the absolute finished article in a player. We would be lucky to get Morales, sure he has higher aspirations than relegation battles and short cup runs though..oh wait he is already playing in Europe so would have to throw a lot of money at him to downgrade. He's absolute...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Just heard his first interview and he is saying all the right things and he's exactly what this group of players need. They are all far too casual and will take the piss given half a chance. It's a boring appointment, but I've just seen he was at the training ground about 7 this morning and I can im...
