Re: Season ticket renewal 24/25

The points you make are of course correct but the fact that since being at the London Stadium the club have always allocated a very high proportion of tickets to Seson Ticket sales suggests that they have no appetite for the uncertainty of match by match sales. Given the quality of our CEO (Vice Ch...

Re: The kids are all right

Enlighten me please. What is a promising 20yo academy defender supposed to do in League 1 that qualifies him to be considered PL standard? I would say he couldn't, it's more or less the kiss of death. Conor Bradley went on loan from Liverpool to Bolton Wanderers last season and played 41 matches fo...

Re: The kids are all right

But until players are actually seen at that level it is surely impossible to accuratrely mnake a judgment. Seriously, where do you draw the line with this? You can't just try everyone at that level, otherwise you may as well give me a go. The coaching staff see them at the level they are now, they ...

Quite possibly this, loo's were always traditionally fed from the cold water tank.

My old boy band 3 ticket goes up from £367 to £395. That's an increase of around 8%.

Re: The kids are all right

Despite our apparent dominance in the league and cups for the last 3 years, there's still only 3 WHU players represented in the latest England U18s (2), U19s (0), U20s (1) and U21s (0) age groups. That's Mumbama in the U20s and Orford and Finlay Herrick in the U18s. I'd not even heard of the latter...

Re: Sam's ear

I think the fans disconnect with Sam started at Peterborough in the Championship when we started singing 'We're West Ham United - we play on the floor'. He didn't like that and took a swipe at the fans after that game. Allardyce always had a certain contempt for us fans, he always banged on about u...

Pam is very upset to find herself behind Sam in the queue for the free post match buffet.

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

I love having a thread like this where you can share your story and not feel judged. I've always had serious anxiety issues and these would often lead to panic attacks. The worst part about it is that anything could trigger this for me, and I would live my life expecting something bad to happen. Ni...

More to do with a defence that largely lacks pace and will get done on the counter.
Apart from shoring up the defence with Rice and someone else and then getting accused of going all defensive, am not sure what else you can do.

Similar happens at other top nations too
Same here, England have been crying out for someone decent in that position for ages.

Jon wrote: Sat Mar 23, 2024 9:29 pm So predictable he wanted a minder for Rice. Why?
I'd guess it's because Rice is probably now the first name on the team sheet and the manager needs to know who can come in and take his.place in case of injury.
Two players for every position and all that.
