Re: Bayer Leverkusen v West Ham Utd Europa QF 1st leg match thread

Once they figured that they became even more confortable, we looked like a team with a man down trying to see a game out . I disagree entirely, the longer the game went on the more comfortable we looked, personally I was confident they wouldn't score. And then they did from a miss hit. The truth is...

Always thought it was where the first contact was.

Re: Little things that irritate you

At least Nish and Jenny don't seem to be everywhere ATM. Romesh is polluting the radio now as well as prime time TV. If he's a comic, let him stick to that. Keep saying 'prick' and doing impressions of his ma don't do it for me. At least it's a relatively new thing with him. Michael McIntyre has be...

Re: Bayer Leverkusen v West Ham Utd Europa QF 1st leg match thread

My point is... We're 1-0 down and we're not taking any risks. No tactical changes or attempts to change the result other than conceding another goal. It makes me sick. Football from the 80s, without any risk, without any courage. Go on then, I'll bite. What would you do when one nil down with two m...

Re: Help needed to escape my Orwellian Nightmare - 1984ish!

Slightly off beam, I've been an OAP for 5 years but only retired 2 years ago and finally stumped up the CGT on my premises earlier this year. The accountant I used pretty much thinks I don't need his services and am loathe to end up with another bill for that. Anyway, according to the Gov website, ...

Indy, I haven't had to contact the revenue for quite some time but they used to be fairly easy to talk to but things have clearly changed. Have you thought about contacting a tax accountant? I only ask this because I believe that registered accountants have their own hotline to the revenue and can s...

Also time for Paqueta and Kudus to get better at linking up.
And for Paquetta especially to not give the ball away as much as he does. For all his genius, he can be pretty wasteful, especially away from home.

Re: Stopping the cheating

You stop this easily by doing what the authorities have refused to do with VAR - copy other sports. The assessment shouldn't be done by the team's doctors anyway, they have a vested interest in getting the player back on the pitch. Get an independent doctor to make the call. If they fail the concus...

The most surprising thing I've learnt today is that Fabianski is 6 foot four.
I always thought he looked a tad short for a goalkeeper.

I've had four implants done, I can hardly tell which are the implants. Had them done over here as there are quite a few visits you have to make and it felt like a better option. I was lucky as I had enough savings to get them done, I also switched my dentist to the guy that did the implants as was s...
