Re: America - Guns & Mass Shootings

Up early yesterday morning, popped the telly on to be greeted by Katie someone on BBC News, a senator for Alabama, doing what the caption told me was the Republican Response. I found her utterly terrifying. With her big teeth rictus smile and unblinking wide eyes. She was spouting a Trumplite "...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I would say though that his use of subs (or lack of) drives me nuts! jwp, Bowen, alvarez and especially pacqueta blowing our their arses from an hour onwards. If you've got players running in treacle, make a bloody change man!!

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I think a win v Freiburg or Burnley in next two games will keep Moyes in a job. A result in either keeps us in line for a good season, anything else would be curtains. Well in that case we really are a ridiculous circus and we don't deserve any form of success. Win two games? - He's a genius, new c...

To be fair to them, they basically lost their best players when they went up. It was always gonna be an impossible (but hilarious) task

Re: Other games (fwiw) 2/3/4 March

Didn't it used to be if so many players were sent off? Maybe Wilder will tell them to go and deliberately injure their players in the 2nd half. After all he didn't see anything wrong with Brewster's challenge in the game against us :thdn: This actually happened years ago. With Sheffield United. Man...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I posted the other day that I have conversations with my son about the knock it up the channels, cross into the box, rarely beating the first defender, rinse and repeat tactic and feeling that we would like a change. I asked 'why don't we make runs into the box and play pin point, defence splitting...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I can't believe there's still people mentioning the Europa League this season as a reason to keep him. Please look at the teams in this competition.. We don't stand a chance of winning it. Unless we get a really lucky draw next week, i highly doubt we get past the next round. Attitudes like this sh...

Some have said that and that is pure ignorance.I have never said he wasn't a decent manager either. You knows myu views on his football,so I don't need to repeat them. Re: West Ham United FC Vs Arsenal FC Match thread

Just curious, as my moral compass is often conflicted , so if tomorrow PIF of Saudis Arabia came in and purchased the club would everyone be OK with that? Genuinely interested in people's thoughts because to me anyway ,the likes of the PIF Newcastle takeover and numerous other morally dubious club ...
