Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Didn’t we have a bloated squad under Pellers? Didn’t we have 5 centre forwards at one time? Disastrous really for a club our size, stuff that would have kept Sullivan awake pretty sure he was on talk sport banging on about it.

No wonder he’s cut it to the bone

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

He is right on some occasions. On other occasions the team needs the fans to lift them. It's why we are supporters not appreciators. The entertainment used to be in large part the supporting. Now supporting seems to be sitting in expectation. On entertainment sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't...

Thanks for European adventures but ultimately domestically im not quite convinced.
Personally I don't like him so I won't be sad if he's gone in may.
You best hope he doesn’t get a new contract then

Re: FA Cup replays scrapped

We must be one of the only countries that has replays in cup games aren’t we? I can see that the small clubs will miss out on a pay day and playing at a bigger ground but it might also produce a few more shocks with those clubs knocking out the big boys there and then rather than getting spanked in...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

If true I would say that is a 100% Sully signing and totally kills any thought that anything has changed (as highlighted in the January window).

I suppose we'll see but im pretty negative that things will get any better than they have been in the last 4 years at this club

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

sullivan got pellegrini in off his own accord not due to fans demanding the move - bit different to the point you're making Id also argue the suggestions fans want or suggested are much younger and adaptable than pellegrini was Not sure that’s true, Sullivan shat himself with the Burnley pitch inva...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

The Board, Sullivan, would never remove a manager because of "haters" in the fan base. Yeah many fans don't enjoy the football anymore but its not like we're 18th in the table and entire stadium is screaming for change. Moyes has done everything asked of him and more. He'll be a legend he...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

people confuse sullivan for a standard issue wealth extracting embezzler which to me is a bit of an oversimplification. seems to me he's a capricious sort and likely a narcassist. i imagine he flits between dreaming of a statue of himself outside the plastic monstrosity we call a stadium, then cons...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

He couldn't even buy a player without getting vetoed by Sullivan and his pet agents yet people think he's going to decide who's the next manager. Get real. I find it incredible that after more than a decade of watching Sullivan as our chairman people think he’s suddenly going to totally change and ...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I don't know why people think the players dislike Moyes. I think it has been very obvious over the years that they don't just respect him, they like him. Not every single one of them, of course. But the vast majority and the collective have. It's the fans that don't. At its worse it’s a strategy to...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Potters next gig may well depend on the terms of his severance from Chelsea. From memory they have always had a clause that if its another Premiership team then they can stop paying the dosh, don't think it counted if it was a club outside of the premier league (I might be wrong). My personal view i...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Yeah but there is a reason 99% of clubs, owners, pundits, journos, players, fans etc would choose De Zerbi over Moyes. And its not because 99% are all wrong and some West Ham fans are right. Moyes has done wonders but De Zerbi is clearly a better coach and tactician, hence everyone in football laud...
