Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Are we in for Lingard now, though? Paper talk linking us aside, have we actually made a bid, or has a formal bid been reported (in the way Newcastle's was)? Bit of devil's advocate in that, I know, as I'm sure we would have interest in Lingard after last season regardless. So you don't think we are...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Brereton Diaz reminds me a lot of Bowen when we signed him. Age, playing style, work rate, ability - very Bowen-esque. Would give us an option, and can also be an alternative on the left wing. I'd like us to do that deal. I mean, similarity might be questionable but surely this is why we signed Vla...

Apparently Bowen has a release clause or £20m IF that's true Bowen will be off in the Summer again another reason why we need to strengthen and show ambition
Ive been on here for a V long time, but that goes down as one of the most ridiculous things ive read on here

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

FFS here we go again with the "Lingard should be forcing himself out of MU" rubbish, personally i'd prefer a bloke who was a professional and worked for the club paying his weekly wedge than some sulky ****hole who downed tools or caused problems, reckon our manager thinks exactly like that.

Re: Is now a good time for the season to be suspended?

Conte has been bitching about it before the first game was postponed and then ever since, nasty snidey, cheating little club and manager

Wonder if with Lingard they really wanted to get the game against us out the way first if they have any intention of him coming to us.

The last thing they would have wanted to do was sell to us and he plays a blinder against them this month,
Exactly what i said last week

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Schock is a top-class centre forward. He's strong, a splendid finisher, can hold up the ball and leads the line. Therefor Leverkusen won't let him walk in the winter, nor are we one of the clubs he would fancy going to. Pretty much my view that it's a non starter and we would have no chance of land...

Re: Michail Antonio: club legend?

I don't see Tevez as a legend, for sure. Payet is too recent to determine whether he'll be thought about like that too. Di Canio however, the mixture of brilliant skill, brilliant goals, brilliant moments, and general insanity will likely be always spoken about. The qualifies him as a "legend&...

See opinions....I don't see Di Canio, Payet or Tevez as legends....gifted players definitely, fan favourites yes, cult figures probably but showed no real commitment to the club and had no endearing qualities I feel mark them out so no as legends for me
I agree

Re: Michail Antonio: club legend?

Maybe legend is as simple as how many times you've turned out for the club, i'd class all of our top appearance players as legends
