Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I think top 10 is a bit of an unfair question. Of course he's not going to get a top 6 club (then the other 4 in the top 10 is a very small pool). The other question is actually would he get an offer from any other premier league club? My gut is yes (not that they would "swap" their manag...

We are 3rd behind Argentina and France.
Personally think Italy, Croatia, Holland, Germany area shadow of themselves.
Which is why I think we have a great chance of winning a trophy this year

Re: Declan Rice

Meh... can't say I really give a toss... bloke worked his nuts off when he was here, now hes not... thanks for everything now I don't care. And Jerrod will be off somewhere "bigger" at some point, pretty certain he has a clause in his contract, something Noble said a while ago when he was ...

Re: ✍️ Welcome Michail Antonio

This argument really grates on me. The issue isn’t him going to play for Jamaica, it’s not adequately replacing him. Im not sure why it would grate you.. the bloke gets paid a ridiculous amount of money to play for West Ham United, his body clearly cant deal with a lot of games and yet hes prepared...

Re: Leicester charged with spending breach

Great. But why is happening to them and not Chelsea? How are Newcastle just carrying on as if 'nothing to be seen here', when everyone knows that their ownership model was described in one way, but in fact set up in another? Why are City charged in relation to so many charges but basically carrying...

Re: Nottingham Forest Deducted 4 points

Agreed, 4-6 point deductions aren't really a deterrent, especially when clubs know that they're going to be competing with promoted clubs for the dreaded drop. Calculated acceptable risk. 15-20 point sanctions, effective immediately would put the fear into them though. Ar the moment it's just a cas...

Re: 36 Years Ago Today !

Frank McAvennie had been sold to Celtic in October 87 and we were struggling to score goals. Newspaper reports had linked us to Kerry Dixon of Chelsea and Luton Town's Mick Harford but nothing came of it...we ended up signing Leroy Rosenior from Fulham and he promptly scored on his debut against Wa...

Re: Nottingham Forest Deducted 4 points

It wouldn't surprise me also if the same people jacking it off about Man City are anti-Saudi Arabia etc because of gender equality/new money trying to take over the world/sportswashing etc, when the UAE did/are doing the exact same thing. They're not the same club anymore. Go to the stadium with a ...

Re: (WHU related) FA CUP Lack of semi final appearances.

The FA cup is a tough gig, I know we have gone out to some shocking lower league opposition and weve had more than a few managers throw away the cup games to focus on league results (my gut feel tells me their bonus was only on league positions), but I think weve also had more than enough tough draw...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I doubt any of us have met the great man, so it's impossible to know his motivation and goals at his age. Its also impossible to know what's in the contract, but at a guess there's negotiation tactics going on here be it the package, the length of the contract, the details within it re working pract...

Re: Nottingham Forest Deducted 4 points

I have more sympathy for Forest than Everton. Least Forest were honest with the investigation, least Forest made the sale and could prove they had made sustainable money afterwards with Brennan Johnson. I think they should have been allowed to say to the FA or Prem, whoever it is, ‘we’re selling Jo...

Re: Nottingham Forest Deducted 4 points

I mean is that even a deterrent, Id argue that they have benefitted far more than the punishment dished out, especially if it’s reduced….

I thought the 10 point deduction for Everton was far more of a deterrent measurement

What a farce

I thought he did well yesterday, and I could absolutely see why you move Bowen up top and then Ben on the right just after Digne came on

Re: UEFA Europa League 2023-24

I watched the game last night and wasn't that impressed, they were super lucky to get through and its debatable that if there hadn't been a red card they would have been out.

Didnt see anything to make me think we can't do them
