Re: Pablo Fornals

He is undoubtedly a good player, but the real question is why Pellegrini chose to blow his whole transfer budget on a yet another no 10, when the money was needed elsewhere?

Re: Leicester City (non-WHU)

It's a tale of two women - Susan Whelan who has run Leicester City since 2011 quietly ,successfully and coped with tragedy along the way.
We have Karren Brady!!

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

id imagine if gerrard went after a player for us, his standing in the game would bump us well up in any queue for said player ! if you're clued up and really know what youre doing i dont think age/experience comes into it imo . how old wa jose when he won europa league with porto ? Re: ⚽ Burnley FC v West Ham United: Match thread (09/11)

Pelle and Hus spent all Sulli's infamous 2nd season budget on a player that may,one day, be better than Lanzini. They proceeded to spend £50m by selling/releasing all our strikers and our only b2b mf and replaced with one striker and a punt!

Re: David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

Unfortunately the managers are always playing second fiddle to Sullivan's anti "cut your cloth according" mantra - If Sulli's West Ham were a suit it would be of the very best quality available, but lacking any sleeves or lapels.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

I'm not a fan of Sulli ,but, It was Pellegrini who thought it was a good idea to spend all the available budget(before player sales) on a player that was not needed, immaterial of whether he is any good, imo. It's Pellegrini who takes the majority of "poor performances" out on the defence, despite it...

Says the self appointed resident "Villarreal expert" we all witnessed your total nonsense about Fornals and where he would and would not play - So stop throwing stones.

Re: Antonio could be sidelined for "three to four months"

There was no strapping on his hamstring whatsover. Do you actually know which part of the body the hamstring is? Hence the "from what I could see" comment.Do you get a kick out of trying to put anyone, who disagrees with you, gets it wrong or you just don't like, down? You really are a sad individual.

His hamstring looked heavily strapped starting the match, from what I could see.

Re: ⚽ Brighton and Hove Albion vs West Ham United: Match Thread

We've overloaded the squad with creative "ticky tappy"types to the point that we look better, not to mention giving the creative types a better platform, when we introduce "bog standard" whole hearted players - Antonio,Snodgrass and, to a lesser degree, Sanchez! A gauge of how far we have come is th...

Re: ⚽ Brighton and Hove Albion vs West Ham United: Match Thread

If Ajeti started ahead of Hernandez, that would be ****ing insulting to Hernandez. So we endure a match of an anonymous striker just to save him from a public humiliation? We are powder puff - present the ball to us,give us some time and space and we will muller them! They do the obvious and it will...

Re: ⚽ Brighton and Hove Albion vs West Ham United: Match Thread

How anyone can say that Silva and De Bruyne are not known for their defensive ability,is beyond me! They are constantly closing down and niggling opponents - to play alongside Rice,I would take both for their defensive attributes alone than any of our options in there.

Yorks ~ Liverpool's 3 in front of the defence usually consists of Fabinho and Wijnaldum plus Henderson or Milner on occassion!

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

One holding MF is fine,if you have a solid back four - We do not, whichever formation you put out, unless 3CBs,imo. We,basically, look like setting up with seven players who are stronger in attack or full out attacking players and three outfield players that are predominantly defensive players!

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

I like the signings we’ve made, Haller and Fornals will do well but I don’t consider it a successful window as we haven’t addressed what our main problem was last season. I think teams with any pace will just run through our midfield again and get at our back line too easily. I don’t see enough pac...
