Re: Antonio could be sidelined for "three to four months"

Says the self appointed resident "Villarreal expert" we all witnessed your total nonsense about Fornals and where he would and would not play - So stop throwing stones.

Re: Antonio could be sidelined for "three to four months"

There was no strapping on his hamstring whatsover. Do you actually know which part of the body the hamstring is? Hence the "from what I could see" comment.Do you get a kick out of trying to put anyone, who disagrees with you, gets it wrong or you just don't like, down? You really are a sad individual.

Re: Antonio could be sidelined for "three to four months"

His hamstring looked heavily strapped starting the match, from what I could see.

Re: ⚽ Brighton and Hove Albion vs West Ham United: Match Thread

We've overloaded the squad with creative "ticky tappy"types to the point that we look better, not to mention giving the creative types a better platform, when we introduce "bog standard" whole hearted players - Antonio,Snodgrass and, to a lesser degree, Sanchez! A gauge of how far we have come is th...

Re: ⚽ Brighton and Hove Albion vs West Ham United: Match Thread

If Ajeti started ahead of Hernandez, that would be ****ing insulting to Hernandez. So we endure a match of an anonymous striker just to save him from a public humiliation? We are powder puff - present the ball to us,give us some time and space and we will muller them! They do the obvious and it will...

Re: ⚽ Brighton and Hove Albion vs West Ham United: Match Thread

How anyone can say that Silva and De Bruyne are not known for their defensive ability,is beyond me! They are constantly closing down and niggling opponents - to play alongside Rice,I would take both for their defensive attributes alone than any of our options in there.

Too ****ing lightweight and every team will try to exploit it,imo."Best squad we've ever had" b*llocks being spouted in the last two days is unbelievable or the people who think that are watching a different game to me - "Gentleman's Football " where the oppo hand you the ball and invite you to have...

Yorks ~ Liverpool's 3 in front of the defence usually consists of Fabinho and Wijnaldum plus Henderson or Milner on occassion!

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

One holding MF is fine,if you have a solid back four - We do not, whichever formation you put out, unless 3CBs,imo. We,basically, look like setting up with seven players who are stronger in attack or full out attacking players and three outfield players that are predominantly defensive players!

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

I like the signings we’ve made, Haller and Fornals will do well but I don’t consider it a successful window as we haven’t addressed what our main problem was last season. I think teams with any pace will just run through our midfield again and get at our back line too easily. I don’t see enough pac...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

I imagine that £20m CM players may well not fancy coming to a team who play 1 DM and have their highest rated and, arguably, most popular player already inhabiting that position? That is why opponents come waltzing through our MF and straight on to our CBs or FBs with only Rice offering any real re...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

Let's see how they perform on the pitch first !! Not one of the recruits (bar third choice GK) has any experience in England - We have weakened our DM position (Obiang not replaced) People ,naively, seem to think that our offensive players will defend from the front.I hope I'm wrong, but,for the sak...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

With the advent of VAR, we are going to miss the speed, directness and trickery of Diangana - I would play him over Yarma, based on recent form.

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

Is there any likelihood for a new central midfielder (Argentine chap? ) or has that passed? No,I think the idea is to get more CBs in to share the blame round and have the ability to chop and change after every defeat rather than blame the five attacking players in the team! Much as I think Hernand...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

With 2 more on the cards apparently. Who is going to make way. I know Silva is probably one for January but who is the other? There has been no concrete links for anybody else and I doubt we would tick someone fully fit off the list. If we do bring in another CB - one of our existing CBs is either ...
