Exactly, even if worst case we finished 10th and got knocked out in the Europa League quarters that’s still a bloody good season for us.

Re: West Ham United v Aston Villa: match thread (17.03.24)

Solid point against a team that to be fair are better than us plus have more resources. That Italian chap for them with the neck tattoo should’ve been sent off around 85 mins for throwing the ball away, our player was booked for the same offence. No consistency. Kudus looked VERY dangerous again and...

That is a great point and one that’s conveniently glossed over.

Caught out after we were attacking and put a crap cross right into their keeper’s hands.

Not sure why we always feel the need to go for a kamikaze counter attack - sometimes just get it up the field and pass it about.

Certainly didn’t look dodgy enough to be ruled out.

Score draw looks likely

Both sides played on Thursday night and both smashed their opposition.

1-1

Re: Ghosts

The wife is a Liverpool fan so we were at Anfield 4-5 years back, might have been the heavy defeat when Moyes first took over. Stayed on the Saturday night in a city centre hotel, was a small room and I remember commenting that it had a creepy atmosphere. Woke up in the night at around 3am and saw a...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

What a brilliant performance and result last night.

Looked like we carried on from the attacking demolition job we did on Brentford.

Good to see Moyes give some minutes to another kid as well…

Well done Moysie.

Re: The Physical Health Thread

Part of the problem is that I look younger than I am. I asked someone to guess the other week and they said 35. And, until my nephew came along when I was 24, I was the youngest in the family too. Sounds like I’m a year older than you. 46 this summer. 40s now isn’t what being 40s was 20 or 30 years...

Re: Ghosts

Forgot to post this before. My brother’s bro in law had a three storey townhouse in Dulwich. At least one family member had seen a ghost of a young lady on the landing / corridor at night which floated or came closer to them and then disappeared. The foreign au pair mentioned seeing it as well. It o...

In a bus towards Ilford spoke to Freiburg fan, told him they did show a great support, wish him all the best in Bundesliga, he said thanks but was not fancy to chat, do not know why. Game was superb, we were superb, on and off the pitch, the first Mo's goal had a Maradona vibe, also happy for Cress...

We could’ve got him.

Re: Sex Tourism

What happened to the 17 year old after the marriage failed? Did she stay in the country & flourish or end up back in the Philippines? Had a mate who was a good 20 years older than me, Chinese bloke who owned a takeaway and was a bit wild in his younger years so had got himself a Fillipino bride...
