Re: Things you've always wanted to know......
At the start of an F1 race (I've been watching drive to survive), red lights come on from left to right until a full strip of 2 rows is lit up like below https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.formula1.com%2Fcontent%2Fdam%2Ffom-website%2Fmanual%2FHomepage%2520Carousel%2F1017...

Re: Controversial Opinions
I’ve found my interest in football boosted by going to lower league games - Aldershot, Alton and Basingstoke, so tiers 5-9. A good atmosphere, a chance to catch up with mates rather than sat in a pub, and great to be out in the fresh air. Yep, I went to Exeter City (v Wycombe) on Boxing Day and lov...

Re: Jurgen Klopp leaving Liverpool (non WHU!)
In The Leaving of Liverpool, the lyric goes "When I return, United we will be". I wonder which United he'll return for.

Re: VPN multiple devices
My basic understanding is when you put a VPN on a device, it only routes traffic for that device. I think you have two options: buy a product that can be put on many devices, or buy a VPN capable/fitted router through which all your home traffic will flow. I don't know that you can put a VPN on any ...

MMU at the same time. Banff Road then Rusholme Place. I too would eat in Abdul’s and, furthermore, am now vegetarian. Banff Road didn't ring a bell (long time ago) but I was in Manchester Uni / UMIST halls in 99-00 in Oxford Place, next road across. My best friend was MMU in Didsbury at the same ti...

MMU at the same time. Banff Road then Rusholme Place. I too would eat in Abdul’s and, furthermore, am now vegetarian. I was a bit frightened of the local pubs so we’d go down to The Firkin opposite MMU gardens for matches. I understand Curry Mile has been decimated now. Ha, must be something about ...

Re: Chilli Sauce? Salad?
I tried the large doner from Rusholme or Longsight (South Manchester) shops a few times but could never finish them. I was at Uni in Manchester and lived in Rusholme (99-00). I used to love an Abdul's doner kebab in naan. Nowadays (veggie) I make at home a Greek style halloumi and chip wrap, with m...

Re: Arsenal vs West Ham United: match thread
Great win and thoroughly deserved, so hopefully no-one takes this the wrong way, but I thought the interviewer was a nob suggesting to Arteta that Rice had a poor game. They had 75% possession and the reason they didn't get anything from the game was f'all to do with Rice. It was their wasted chance...

Harry Low-Block Maguire won't be exposed at all by Moyes' West Ham. Think a loan deal for instance would be a safe bet.

Re: Declan Rice
Genuine question, but what is it about Arsenal that people dislike so much? Over the years, I've seen one or two posters here consistent with their dislike of Arsenal, but I've generally heard less dislike than say: Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Millwall. Now all of a sudden, "it would've...

Re: Car Insurance Shocker
My premium (2014 peugeot family car) has just increased from £17/month to £50/month. I thought it was because of a claim my wife had on my insurance last year, but it seems everyone is getting shafted. *****.
