Re: ✍ Welcome Tomas Soucek

A bit under the radar compared to others but I thought Super Tom deserved a mention; thought he was great last night. Overall he does seem to have upped his passing game, rarely see him give the ball away now. There's far fewer grumbles seeing him start every game as well, quite the opposite if anyt...

Re: The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

I agree entirely, in fact a good news story is just what we all need at times as it encourages others who are in their own personal turmoil that it's is possible to turn things around, especially when we look at life through a prism of hopelessness. Brilliant news Rigoberts, am chuffed for you. Ano...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

And so you should be, C... Cressy put in a fantastic shift last night. Since the red cards he barely ever has a good word said about him. But whenever he's called upon he's been solid. And like last night if we need a goal, personally I'd rather have Cresswell than Emerson. 11 goals and 37 assists ...

If you're not proud of Moyes tonight, or where he has got us to, I haven't got much more to say. Even the posters normally calling for Moyes' head have said fair play for tonight.

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

He was terrible. Forget about Antonio. There were other wrong calls on top of just disrupting the game for very little reason. Waving his hand in the air non stop. Early on a blatant throw in for us was ignored so they could break. He was useless. :newthumb: thought he was going to **** that whistl...

Great performance. If Sullivan hadn't ****ed us in January things might have been different.

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

Would it unsettle Leverkusen were we to use those tactics? Could work in our favour, or it could backfire spectacularly and our European adventure could be all over by half time tonight. Safe to say I don't envy Moyesy. But whatever he goes with gets my backing. But for some bizarre reason, I'm qui...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

Respect your opinion stone hammer even though if differs from how I would like to see the game go. But is there a danger the longer Leverkusen go without conceding the more of a stranglehold they'll have on the game, making them even more of a danger. Mate I'd love to see us go all out. Keeping it ...

Exactly what I'm expecting. If we concede first it's all over.

Keep it tight, try and nick a goal and if it's still 0-0 at 60 minutes, we go all out.

With you there. The group stage, for any tournament, is never particularly exciting and leads to meaningless games. I'd much rather see something like a knockout-style double elimination/upper and lower bracket format.

Re: Midweek games

Nice to see Red Spurs delivering the schadenfreude at the crucial point of the season. For the briefest of moments last week I was worried it wouldn't come. Many pundits claimed the beginning of Arsenal's bottling last season began with us, when we drew 2-2 on the 16th of April last year. Right on ...

Quite, it's almost as if Arteta has got them to overper- I've done it again haven't I?
