Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
Not sure what DM could have done differently with the options he had on the bench. Maybe change Paqueta for Cornet , or Antonio out wide and stick on Ings / Mubama ? whoever is in charge next season will need a sizable transfer spend to overhaul the squad, which unless we do get some new investor we...

Re: Bayer Leverkusen v West Ham Utd Europa QF 1st leg match thread
Before the match I would have said 2-0 is still doable , but with no Emerson and Paqueta we are stuffed, unless by some miracle we can change our set up at style, keeping them out and scoring three (or more) is a job to far.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024
Not sure about Antonio and Zouma as bench options. In some ways , amazing people to bring on, but can we financially afford to have such big earners not in the first XI?

Got over a septic cold all week, one mate turns out to be a right snake, feeling up to going out and this happens, knowing my luck I will bump into my ex this evening.

Re: Newcastle Utd v West Ham Utd - Match Thread
What in the claret and blue hell?? Var and ref have been awful today, happening game after game for so many clubs it needs reviewing asap. Begining to think we need to terminate Phillips loan if we can (even more so if we go out of Europe) Antonio needed to come off but why replace him with Phillips...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024
Illings-Junior seems to tick a lot of boxes. Area we need competition in, young, English, decent price.
This is a genuine question but I do wonder how good Tim will be at getting good young English players in this summer.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
I have said this before there is something rotten at the club and we won't find out until the current owners are the previous owners (although I suspect a NDA on the sale) If the money wasted on bad transfers had been spent better we would be better off in terms of finances. Yes all clubs drop clang...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
Manager or player it's always who do we get in?
We might fall lucky and get the new Pep or new Fergie but there is never a guarantee.
The issue for me with Moyes is that we only seem to have one plan and when it goes wrong it goes really wrong.

Can't see any of the bottom 5 changing (ok forest have made a change)
Luton, Burnley will need current managers to get them back up.
Everton who else but Dyche?

Sure I heard that when we went down under Roeder we were due to sign three world class players (Drogba , Chech and er someone) all that stopped us was the relegation
Can anyone confirm?

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
It's all a bit 50 shades of Alladyce at the moment. It seems that everyone but the fans know DM is gone. We needed investment and stability over the last ten years but DS has gone out and got some tosh. Leaving an unbalanced and aging squad. Moyes seems a decent fella and I hope I never forget Pragu...
