Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
There is no longer any permit-free parking anywhere in Newham, except on Sundays. Realistically, in those circumstances, it wouldnt be possible to accommodate an extra 10000 on the district line and would have een equally hard for the less mobile as currently at the OS.

http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/threads/city-showsec-atmosphere-blatant-bullying.326118/ Thread on bluemoon which pretty much mirrors this one regards stewarding at the Etihad. There is a disgraceful clip of some old boy being manhandled out of his seat by a mob of stewards and police (for standi...

Hoping the big occasion effect will kick in for us and that it's a good buzz at the stadium. Thats about the extent of my hopes for this one.

All seen the message about the problem with one of the walking routes tonight? round behind the Aquatics centre, (gas main repair) affecting the route of the accessibility bus, and it looks as though the rerouted walk may be longer.

Just saw this on OS. Sad news, relatively young, and still part of the WHU furniture. Always used to be him in garden kick about.

Re: Norwich City v West Ham Utd: match thread
Some harsh judgements on this thread. Thought we pretty much controlled the first half. Antonio was caught napping, but it was a poor pass, Noble more at fault for me. First goal came from a very dogged piece of defending from cresswell (I think) which could easily have gone out for a throw, instead...

Re: Books you are reading
Anybody else read any Karl Ove Knausgaard? On the second volume of Min Kampf (that's right) and I think he's one of the best modern writers I've come across. He writes in minute detail about his family life in Sweden and seems a singularly unappealing and nihilistic man, but the quality of his writi...

Re: Queens Park Rangers v West Ham Utd: match thread
Just watching the highlights on MOTD, what a complete ****ing bottle job Downing is. The kind of performance that says 'I'm off in the summer, mustnt get injured'. Played a ball forward (Noble?) and just stopped running. Even if hes pissed off at the board/allardyce scenario, where's the profession...

Re: Crystal Palace v West Ham United: Match Thread
Disgraceful that this has dropped off the front page already! That was the proverbial breath of fresh air. This squad has real potential and if they can reproduce that sort of high tempo attacking performance, that'll do me and my old man nicely. I thought Carlton looked a different propostion withi...

thanks for the responses chaps, completely forgot I had posted this in here. McDowalls surveyors near the Boleyn were suggested to me today by a local solicitor so will do a bit of research on them, and also have a look at the names suggested. thanks again. Should have done this years ago but got bu...

Re: POLL: The New Club Crest
It has the same look as the Warner Bros logo before a cartoon comes on. Somehow they've made the hammers look like donald duck in profile. In principle, the design ain't bad, the execution is all wrong. The TIW rivets unfortunately add to the cartoon effect. No to 3D effect they have used although, ...

Re: Luis Suarez: what now?
I think the "hysteria" centers on the fact that it's a bite. I've never heard of another professional footballer being done for biting and yet he's being pulled for the 3rd time. There is also a lot of dislike for him over other things - what he did to Ghana in the last world cup, the fac...

Can anyone recommend solicitors/surveyors specialising in the above in the east london/havering area? Have started trawling through the Law Society pages without success so far.
Also, if anyone has done it, any general advice would be gratefully received I hear it can be complicated.
Thanks

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist
What's really got to me in all these discussions is the lack of common decency exhibited by a lot of people across the interweb and in the linen department. Yes, there is good reason to complain but in the last six weeks we've seen the realisation of Shankly's 'football more important than life and ...

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist
All Gary Cotterill said was that Allardyce, Gold and Brady left without comment but he managed to get a quick word with Sullivan who said they noted down what was said and what "Allardyce put forward his case for keeping his job" and that they would go away and consider this before they a...
