Coming across a hell of a lot more classy than his manager in the last few weeks.
........ive got a lot respect for Moyes, he is brilliant, but he can learn from his captain too.

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window
**** me, I'm as miffed as any of you at us buying no-one, but some of the knicker wetting has to stop. My expectations were low going into Jan. I expected a loan CB and a loan CF - likely both backups. To not get even that, and thus almost certainly surrender a chance of decent crack at Europe and/...

Antonio would clean up with Benrahma feeding him through the middle

Fornals at wing back?
I didnt expect Moyes to change the shape so Fornals deeper seems most likely

Re: ⚽ Sheffield Utd v West Ham Utd: match thread
If Benrahma doesn't start, (and I have no problem with Moyes wanting to stick with Fornals), then I think we should switch Coufal out for Fredericks to give us a bit more pace and threat down that side. Fulham were very happy to lock down our left and let Coufal have space on his side. Whilst clearl...

Re: ⚽ Norwich City v West Ham Utd: match thread
Some rotation required I think. Both fbs dropped.
fabianski
johnson balbuena diop ogbonna
rice soucek
Yarmolenko Wilshere Bowen
haller
No pushing forwards from any of the back 4.
Antonio and Fornals from the bench.

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Burnley: match thread
Burnley are not a 100% huff puff, niggly, % team.
Best move of the game was Woods offside goal, (he went far too early), although we allowed them to make 10 unopposed passes from one side to the other.
Dyche is no mug.....but you know he would absolutely flop here because of the three above.

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Burnley: match thread
I know we generally watch worse than that...but f me if I were Burnley I'd hate to watch that every week :D Some really poor execution up front has ultimately cost us. If we take one of those chances Burnley need to come at us a bit. They were here for a point no question. We know Antonio is instinc...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC
But surely he has to try? Noble off at half time - Fornals into his position - Lanzini or Anderson out wide? Antonio was being kicked all game and was shot - Bowen up front late on for 20mins? Yarmolenko, Silva, even Ajeti. Johnson on the wing? Give Wilshere 15mins to see if he has anything? We slee...

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Wolves: match thread
Very difficult game. Needs to be this for me. Antonio and Bowen with licence to switch sides. Fredericks and Cresswell have to support forwards to push their full backs into defence. Lots of responsibility on Rice and Soucek. Fornals to try and stitch it all together. Everyone needs to put an absolu...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC
We need to stay classy and not turn on him, or the team, however much they might deserve it.
More is at stake now. Focus the anger on them.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC
As has already been said it feels like the 'end of the beginning' now and we are into probably two-three hard years of keeping the pressure on them. As much as anybody disagrees with Moyes, or his tactics, or the results, relegation etc. We need to stay focussed on the three at the top and not turn ...

Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread
It was a poor game of football, well contested.....but a really poor game from a quality perspective. I was getting very frustrated with the commentary more than anything else, as they kept digging out Anderson and Haller, whom for me produced the only glimmers of actual Premier League Standard foot...
