Re: England v Montenegro

Absolutely no love for anything Spursy, but a breakdown of any England strikers goal tally v opponents at the same point as Kanes would be similar and he has that golden boot at a WC.

Less of a flat track bully than Rooney’s list was and more goals at major tournaments to his name already.

Re: England v Montenegro

Thoroughly enjoyed watching that. Thought Chillwell, Sancho, Madison and Rashford especially were great to watch in the second half

All time England XI

No place for a certain scorer of a World Cup final hat-trick but 3 ex Hammers in here:

Re: Bored Of It All Now

Someone remind me what's so great about playing in the Premier League again? The standard of football and that’s mainly it. The championship isn’t some halcyon relic of Shoot match ladders or Panini Stickers though. I’ve been to a few Brentford games over the last few years and the standard of foot...

Re: January

Yes that’s why he left us. Fair enough it seems it was just me who rated him then. He was another one of those I thought was going to be a proper great signing and then sort of had 5 good games for us. The player I miss is Kouyate - he was like a lotto scratchcard - for every £2 winner there’d be 2...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Julian Dicks as manager, with Paolo as his coach, until the summer, when we can look at getting Eddie Howe in or those blokes at Huddersfield who play long ball football but had C&B scarves as kids.

Thomas Repka to manage the women’s team. That’ll stop any nonsense.

Ironing Board is a Spurs fan who has a grand old time when we are doing poorly. Proper forumming.
He was RM6 before he was IB. To be fair to him, I think he is proper West Ham, but he blatantly likes ugly football.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

With Slav, you have to take into account the move to the Deathstar. After that last season at the Boleyn we could’ve had Herbert Chapman exhumed and he still would’ve balked at the task. I’ve lived 40 (something) years in and around “Stratford City”, and despite that, still spent the entire first s...

Probably the worst post I've read on this site for a while.
It’s just a standard, relentless, daily dose of drivel.

There’s a handy feature on this site that makes it go away.

Re: Weekend fixtures: 8-10 November

If only Anderson was half as good as Dimi... In a list of midfielders we’ve had over even just the last 10 years, Anderson would just be a random towards the middle of that list for me. Lanzini too. Not just inconsistent, but often simply invisible. Scott Parker, Dimi.. Anderson would be closer to ...

get rid of the plastics and tourists. reduce all seats to £20-30 a ticket
Have you ever been to a cup game when the tickets are reduced to £20-30 a ticket?

Have to assume the answer is “no”

Incredibly, the plastics and tourists have NOT magically disappeared when the prices have dropped.
