Getting villains to threaten your own fanbase is pretty high up anyone’s list
Yeah that was the point where I realised I probably wasnt a “real” West Ham United supporter anymore.

Re: Nutter!

But for a Sliding Doors moment, Ben Thatcher might have been first taxi off the rank for this discussion. Thank the Lord he didn't come here.... Frankie Mac was a bit of a nutter too. In different ways. I saw that twat play for us in that friendly against Villarreal. One of the first indications th...

Re: Isla Caton

Had about 35 messages today from all different WHU and football people, all saying how heartbroken they were about this little darling passing. Says a lot at just how many people she’d impacted and how loved she was.

Heartbreaking news. Life is a hard old thing these days ain’t it.

Our owner was once jailed for living off immoral earnings of prostitutes. Not really squeaky clean.

That website saying we won’t sign anyone actually gives me more confidence that we will.

It’s like Lawro saying we’ll lose
Bet he doesn’t even ask them to use lube.

Re: Have GSB delivered (albeit late)

Some cracking debate on this last couple of pages. I’ve a few mates who have kids in your boat, DL. I’m not sure they’d have started going every week if they’d not had a £325 ST option and now they’ve been regulars for 4 years. Shame they’ll never get to experience that walk from East Ham, the fried...

Wonder what the view will be when they sell Rice for £100m or so then ride off into the sunset with half a billion big ones?
If we’re 5th or 6th in the league and we won that week, there’ll still be some who think it’s alright and that Rice is the **** for leaving.

Has football ever been more corrupt?

Or are some of us just becoming older and more cynical? I can’t remember any season or time where the top level game has seemed less fuelled by sport or fun. It feels like greed hasn’t just started to be consume all, it’s hardly even hidden or fought. * Football clubs like Arsenal & Burnley mani...

Re: Vladimír Coufal signs

I don’t think Coufal has been that bad all season. He’s played in 18 wins for us, which would suggest he’s not been all that bad. Set himself ridiculously high standards last season.

The irony for me on this debate is that the older folk who took me to games at the Boleyn as a kid won’t and have never set a foot in Stratford stadium.

We’re punching and people are being spoilt. Then like spoilt kids they start crying when things don’t do for us.
You only have to look at some of the comments aimed at Fabianski, our most reliable and constant keeper in donkeys, to see you are sadly spot on.

Re: ⚽ Manchester Utd vs West Ham Utd: match thread

It's the real big games, the so called six points, the ones that matter. A combination of VAR & the Refs suddenly have their worse games ever & award a penalty against us, send someone off or VAR then steps in to rule a goal for us off when it was perfectly good. Remember last season our ma...
