Don't mind the tweets, but if they are in any way contributing to the site crashing every other minute then they should be pulled.
I agree with this. I just skip past them but if they are causing the site to be this bad it's better they are pulled. I have no idea if that is the case though.

I like the twitter updates, good if I'm fishing and don't have access to a stream or radio commentary
Go to Twitter to read them then.

The updates are a very good addition to the match thread....

The reliability of the site is a separate issue.
Surely people can go to Twitter to read them

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Newcastle United: Match thread (2/11)

Is it the constant Twitter posts that this forum can't handle? I'm only guessing but are they slowing the website to much? Do we need them? Surely people can go to Twitter to read them if they want them?

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Newcastle United: Match thread (2/11)

So far the commentators have said that Newcastle haven't scored more then 1 goal in a game and Almiron hasn't got a goal or an assist for them yet. We all know what comes next.

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Sheffield United: Match thread (26/10)

I thought the Anderson sub was the correct decision. He was poor today. Under hitting through passes and taking to many touches. He seems low on confidence, probably needs a goal.

Surely that's the wrong picture to use,it's when the ball is played forward ,not when the ball is received by the player.
He is playing the ball forward to the number 7. Number 7 scores

Re: Club or Country?

Club for me everytime. I don't bother much with international football now. Hadn't watched an England friendly in ages. Only watch now because Declan is there. I'd never want England to lose but couldn't imagine John Terry lifting a trophy and forever being put up there with Bobby.

Re: VAR - yes or no ?

There was a game I think in Germany last year when a penalty decision was reviewed right on half time. The ref blew the whistle and everyone walked off to the changing rooms. VAR gave the penalty and they all had to come out again so the penalty could be taken.
