Re: The Sunak Government 2022-
In the case of Rayner we appear to be setting a low threshold to establish criminality. Its entirely plausible to be between addresses at any point in time to effectively be neither resident in one or the other. Millions of divorcees have been in that position, do you wznt them all prosecuted Sammi...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024
Nketiah at £40 million is crazy but not when viewed against what the recent landscape has looked like for young, Premier league owned players at the 'top' clubs. I mean, Chelsea sold Lewis Hall to Newcastle for £28 mill and are demanding upwards of £35 mill for Ian Maatsen. I would hazard a guess t...

Re: Local Elections, 2nd May 2024
Does it mention the Labour Party on it? For some reason a lot of Tory candidates appear to avoid showing which party they belong to on pamphlets or even the colour blue for some reason. It does. Doesn't mention starmer though. Won't matter they always win here. If you are the council that turned a ...

Re: The Sunak Government 2022-
She has said she will resign if she has done something criminal.
One of them is alleged to have misspent his parties money, the other to have lied on official documents to evade tax.
If they are both guilty which one is which in your comparison?

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
In fairness perhaps we should all sit at home watching an updating excel spreadsheet whilst checking the result at the end of the match. Football is all about the eye test I'd say it's more about how you feel than what you see. Some of that can come from what you see but it's not the sole aspect of...

Re: The Sunak Government 2022-
Piling pressure on Angela Rayner on an issue from years ago, whilst knowing about these events. They are all guilty so nobody is to blame is how we got into this mess over time, it's not the way to improve it. Glee at the Tories while wanting poor little working class Angela left alone won't solve ...

Re: The Sunak Government 2022-
The Party have known for three months about the allegations but have only withdrawn the whip on the publication of the story by The Times. Rayner has the whip still despite the allegations against her. They are allegations at this point and (I think) internal party ones at that. The electoral commi...

Had the labour leaflet through the post. It's very odd as it's entirely about Liz Truss.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
Ok Aston Villa they may be above us now but have not been in for most of Moyes reign If Emery went elsewhere would the fans be calling for the club to be trying for Moyes Not in the position they are now in but then if we had a vacancy we probably wouldn't look at him either. I guess that's the nat...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
Over the last month's there has been quite a lot on here along the lines of 'this is the only pro Moyes site', 'tge majority of fans want him gone', 'everyone in my stand wants him out'.
If that's true it must in some form have dripped through to the club and Moyes must have faced some negativity.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
West Ham for me has become a bit of a chore and that saddens me.I would like for it to be more fun and if that involves less success then so be it. History has kind of shown the only way it works out is if it doesn't involve less success. The arguments against Moyes are getting almost word for word...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024
FFP was <105M at the end of a revolving 3yr cycle wasn't it? Not really read up on these new rules coming in but I guess you're right, if we went big this summer then presumably it would be '25/'26 for any punishment. Not the most financially sound idea but we're in a hole, our can kicking has just...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024
Is it worth taking a gamble for one season? Go big in the market with a £200M net spend and take the opportunity to revolutionise the squad. Take the 6/10 pt penalty deduction, aim for a mid table finish then kick on with what should be a much healthier squad. It seems to me that a few clubs are go...

Re: ✍️ Welcome Lucas Paquetá - Our Brazilian Magnifico
Here's a conundrum for you all. Do we want the investigation concluded so we can sell him and bank the money or hope it drags on to next season, meaning City back off but we run the risk of him being suspended for a long while? Get him cleared and get him sold, he has checked out now. The money is ...
