Re: Tottenham seek judicial review of Newham loan

Im sober. I honestly think we will be in the Champions League in 10 years. We will have a 60 - 70 000 seater stadium with superb facilities, amenities and fantastic infrastructure. Sullivan and Gold will have long sold us by then. Whoever takes us over will want to attract the best possible players...

Re: Tottenham seek judicial review of Newham loan

Plans for new WHL prohibitively expensive....

14 - 0 losers in the OS bid....

Judge says no to a review and warns against an oral hearing....

They noneless go for an oral hearing and their legal fees are mounting up and up and up....

Im loving it :D

Re: How Much Have Spurs Cost Londoners?

Im glad uk athletics is suffering, perhaps they should have bid for the stadium themselves. Time for us to abandon our plan . It was built to be just for athletics and that is shat is should have been The thread is about londoners as well yet can't see anywhere in the opening piece where London is ...

Re: Tottenham seek judicial review of Newham loan

Their own common sense should have told them that their bid didn't have a prayer, how on Earth could they ever have thought that a proposal to pull the bloody place down could have succeeded ? How could the OPLC ever propose that should happen ? And even if they had some form of aberration and did h...

Re: Tottenham seek judicial review of Newham loan

It's interesting that the mugs left it to the last possible day before seeking permission from the high court for a judicial review of the decisions of the OPLC, Boris, and the government decision makers.... Is their case not as strong as they'd like it to be methinks, looks mightily as if it got to...

Re: Man City vs West Ham Utd: match thread

Reasonable shift last week, reasonable shift this week, decent oppositions away, no points was my expectation. No room for anything but reasonable shifts now, and no room for anything but results either, if we don't pick up the points now it's curtains Need to beat Wigan and a win and a draw may do ...

Re: Man City vs West Ham Utd: match thread

Can't see us gaining any points from this shift, like last week I'm hoping that we keep the score down as goal average may well be crucial and hoping that Wolves, Blackpool, Wigan, Blackburn pick up as little as possible, preferably nothing. The last three games are winnable if we put in decent shif...

Re: The Olympic Stadium [new poll]

Like you, I'd love to receive this information, but given that logic seems it is unlikely to set any minds at rest, the club don't seem too keen on releasing it. I don't suppose it's known yet, last I read tenders were being invited, I suppose until somebody comes back with a we can do this it's go...

Re: The Olympic Stadium [new poll]

I think the 35,303 seat is down the pub watching it for free on some dodgy satellite probably with plenty of others who've got pissed off with the running track and numerous tourists and day trippers the OS will cater for with clappy sticks and flags, will be a better view. Still have the away game...

Re: The Olympic Stadium [new poll]

February 9, 2011: SpursForce I Really do believe this too, we needed that stadium to compete, i wouldnt be surprised if west ham over take us in the next 10 years, in that time the Harry affect goes into full swing, he leaves the club half our players leave, were in masses of debt. Hopefully im just...

Re: The Olympic Stadium [new poll]

Just to lighten the mood on the subject here are some amusing extracts I found on a Spurs Olympic Stadium forum: Spurs lose Olympic Stadium bid! February 9, 2011: Jerard Bad news I think, Levy will be forced to put our club in massive debt which could be detrimental to our success on the pitch Febr...

Re: The Olympic Stadium [new poll]

Tosh .Complete and utter . The 35'304th arse hasn't got a seat to sit in at the Boleyn, therefore their view would be from outside the ground in Green Street where they weren't able to get in - So any view that they have inside the Olympic Stadium cannot be anything else other than better. All view...

Re: The Olympic Stadium [new poll]

When we go to the Olympic Stadium it wont be lets just open the gates and see who turns up, there will be marketing. It'll probably begin with corporate, look at our shiny new boxes, this will be your ease of attending, suck it and see for a few games then decide.... Then there'll likely be a pre se...

Re: The Olympic Stadium [new poll]

Logic? I am aghast that you trust this board and their actions, based on what I have seen so far I would have said the board have hardly got one thing right so far, a f*** up at every hurdle, and whatever way you look at it, this has to be a gamble. The board by the way knew f*** all before they pl...

Re: The Olympic Stadium [new poll]

And your faith in this statement is base on what exactly? On logic Mushy, by analysis of the boards actions. The board knew full well before the bid was placed that a certain number wouldn't go to the Olympic Stadium, yet they still decided to place the bid. In doing that they were absolutely prepa...

Re: The Olympic Stadium [new poll]

I was on a train back from Edinburgh, it stopped for a very short time at Newcastle, there were notices all along the platform saying don't get on the train if you're not traveling. The doors closed and the train began to move, a woman came rushing along the carriage wanting to get off. Just as she ...

Re: Chelsea FC v West Ham United FC Match Thread

Thought it was a fair shift given the quality of the opposition and that they're top of the form table at the moment, never thought for one moment that we'd come away with any points but hoped that we'd keep it down to 1-0 to help with the goal average, it's hard enough having to beat Blackburn, Wig...

Re: The Olympic Stadium [new poll]

Having a bigger stadium and therefore probably a higher gate revenue will give you a better chance of things than if you didn't have it. It's just one of a number of things that contribute to being successful. If you get the rest right too then you may win something, if you get the rest wrong then y...

Re: T*ttenham seek judicial review of Newham loan

Does anyone know when a decision will be finally made in the courts regarding Sp*rs and Orients threat of judicial review? I really want this to finally end, so that we can sign the contract and get on with the move to the OS. See http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/cms/1220.htm" onclick="window.ope...
