Re: The Antonio as Right Back Thread

Antonio's style is unique, we have a rough diamond that no LB can handle for 90mins imo. He has a natural power dribble like no other, direct & effective. Some may see it as not technical , but I see it as very natural 'beat a man' . His unpredictable style is what sets him apart. You can't coach h...

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

All well and good throwing out this very positive statement about a new attacking coach and a better attacking philosophy but if Allardyce, as he has said himself, continues to use Kevin Nolan on a regular basis instead of finding/using a skilful ball retainer then this whole statement is worth noth...

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

I'm in the twist camp purely for him continuing to play Nolan who is quite possibly one of the most static players in the league and is pretty much a one trick pony......adding that he only performs that one trick on odd occasions. Others team build their teams around players such as Lallana, Erikse...

Re: Summer Transfer thread - 2013/2014

I think Shola Ameobi is a lot better than most people give him credit for . My in-laws are Geordies so I see a fair bit of Newcastle over the past six years and Ameobi is absolute dogsh*t. I know there hasn't been any news lately but blimey throwing Ameobi into the hat is ridiculous. If you've seen...

Re: Little things that irritate you

The amount of people who wish their kid Happy Birthday on Facebook, every time I see some prick do this I just want to comment but that probably makes me look like a mug so I refrain. Too add to the above you can include people who wish their partners Happy Birthday or Happy Anniversary on Facebook,...

It would allow us to sing the Demba Ba song again as well :)

Re: Summer Transfer thread - 2013/2014

we all know life is never boring supporting the hammers! But it is never dull either! We need to prepare ourselves for the next kick, but i think we equally need to prepare ourselves for winning something soon - as this is going to be as difficult to come to terms with as anything for a lot of us H...

Re: Summer 2012 Transfer and Rumours Thread

But everyone knows why he's leaving Fulham, talking about him coming here or having to read about it is just totally pointless. We have as much chance of signing him as we did with RVP. Sums up the point I was making really, I get the fact this is a transfer rumours thread but if I were to talk abo...

Pointless comment seeing as he is looking to leave Fulham for European football with clubs like Liverpool mentioned.....I don't mean to mug you off but it's a silly comment really.

Re: West Ham Utd v Watford: match thread

Everyone is avoiding the fact that Lansbury WILL start. Big Sam isn't going to make a point of commenting on him in the press about improving his consistency and then bomb him off to the bench or out of the squad.

Posh boss Darren Ferguson said: “I’ve had a meeting with the head groundsman and other people who know more than me and they are confident the game will take place. “The snow has helped the pitch cover protect the surface and as long as the temperature doesn’t drop below minus two I reckon we will b...
