Amazingly, Sky Sports Predictive Genius, Charlie Nicholas has done the same in his this week. At least with Merse we had the weekly comment about us being a bag of Revels.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

I always find the persistent standing and "dangerous" debate somewhat ridiculous. As if passively standing and watching is somehow more of a health and safety risk than jumping up and cheering when a goal scored. Surely that is more likely to cause some sort of issue than a bunch of people...

Glad we won. Time wasting since the 6th minute. All of a sudden running about when they were losing.

Hodgson, the last dinosaur of the game.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

Aaronhammer hits the nail on the head. This thread is getting so repetitive that I can sum it up in the following points: 1. Very few like the walk to the stadium 2. No one likes the stop/go after the game - Other options available 3. Seats are too far away from the pitch 4. No, we can't dig down 5....

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

The only part of the upper tier I’d sit / stand in given the choice would be either side of the away fans. Wouldn’t be interested in any other part of the ground. The lower tiers in each corner would always be my preference as they now are the closest to the action. But personally I prefer the atmo...

Classy away fans thought it was fun to throw coins into 217 after the second goal last night, got hit twice by them.

Sum.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

I stand towards the back of one of the sections mentioned in the SAG report and not once have me, or any of the 25+ people in the group been told to sit down - granted that stewards would need an oxygen mask to get to the top (I certainly do after a few half time bevvies. This is social cleansing - ...

I seem to recall within at least two sets of minutes of meetings with the three dildos that there was explicit reference to Gold and Sullivan being UK taxpayers...

They may be paying tax in the UK, but not all of it.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

So my ST in block 216 has turnstiles D and E printed for entry. Turned up at Turnstile D (as we have entered for the Europa and Friendly games) to be refused entry due to it being Away fans - understandably. If we went in E we would have had to have walked the entire circumference for the stadium. I...

Re: what you will miss and wont miss about Upton Park

Will miss the night games - how the stadium looks under floodlights. Will also miss how the stadium looks when empty, after all have left. Will not miss the Upton Park queue, people deciding that 4.45 on a Saturday is a desirable time to go for a drive down Green Street. I also hope that the queues ...

Limited amount of seats have been released that are 'Restricted View' which is basically a 10% discount to have a barrier in your peripheral vision, unlike a steel column blocking everything. These seats cover all bands but obviously not many available.

Block 216 Row 57 seat 175. Also had a disclaimer re cup allocation but fine with the priority to move considering the likelihood of clubs taking the full 15% allocation.

Will be the new Chav corner

Re: Allardyce: Stick or twist

Oldun everyone knows the move the 2 Daves should make, except that if they make that move it's going to cost them, and that is unacceptable to them. They are prepared to gamble that Smiling Sam will keep us us this season by hook or by hoof and they can be shot of him for nothing, I can't see them ...

Likely that he'll be sacked after 6 games if he doesn't get the results. Would be interesting considering our first six include Manure, The Scum and the Northern Scum

Great signing for them
Thats a HUGE amount of money for a club like Everton to spend. Considering they've been operating on a shoestring budget the last few years, its an interesting development.
