Re: Welcome, Sebastien Haller

If Haller was in a decent team I have no doubt he’d look a very good centre forward, but unfortunately he’s not and hasn’t been for a while. It is worth mentioning that despite barely touching the ball for the last month or so he has still scored 4 and assisted 1 in 11 games, which in isolation isn’...

What a c*ntish thing to do, just because your team is losing.
That manager knew what he was up to the whole time, he’s far from innocent. If you look he actually steps across, braces and leans in to the player before his melodramatic jump and fall to the floor.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

stu you must have taken too many punches to the head last night !!!!!!!! since when have these two clowns had any long termish issues about putting in place a plan to replace a manager ? That is my concern! I can see us going back to a Moyes/Allardyce manager which would be a mistake. We do p...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

I don’t think we should get rid of Pellegrini yet, however if we do it is imperative that we get a manager in with a similar philosophy. Teams that switch between styles and managers typically struggle. We have a decent squad with a lot of technical players, we need a manager who’s suited to having ...

Re: UFC

A very good event! Could load some vids of the Diaz ring walks or Trump’s arrival  (but not sure how to?) Some great fights and devastating knock outs, although the Till fight was a little disappointing tbh. The Diaz fight was great but again, a shame the doc stopped it when he did. Diaz cut wa...

The updates are a very good addition to the match thread....

The reliability of the site is a separate issue.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Where to start? Many thought he was the world class manager we desperately needed, but let’s be honest last season was average, this season has been incredibly poor. We’ve got a very difficult run of fixtures ahead of us soon and we likely to be a couple of points out of the relegation zone come the...

Re: Rugby Union World Cup.

No the All Blacks brought in one of the Barrett brothers in the back row because he was a good jumper and gave them more options at the lineout - it didn't work as Itoje is basically a human salmon. Rumours seem to be that Eddie Jones is going to do what he did vs Australia and change Ford's role t...

Re: Boxing thread

Benn gets loads of stick for this and deservedly so The 20-year-old was captured earlier this week in a video mocking 'Rockin' Robin Deakin, who was was born with club foot and could not walk until he was six. What a horrible twat. It’s funny he has this persona of trying to be a bit of a gangster ...

Conor Benn has done well to be pretty much disliked by all boxing fans, considering how popular his father was and still is.

Re: Rugby Union World Cup.

Not a chance. The Boks will try to smash through us with their forwards, force penalties and kick points. If we want to be able to play fast paced expansive rugby, we first need to front up their forwards and win the ball in good areas. It'll be our forwards that make or break the game. Admittedly ...

Re: UFC

Hopefully the Diaz fight will last longer than 5 seconds! By all accounts it should be a good fight, I know Diaz likes a tear up and so does the other bloke. Decent having a Brit in Till to support on the undercard, also hoping for a decent post fight interview from Derrick Lewis like this one. :lol...

I'm not a massive UFC fan, only really ever watched the McGregor fights, I have however decided to get tickets to the fight this weekend as I'm in NYC for the weekend. I know a bit about Diaz from the McGregor fight and also heard about Till but know he's lost his last two fights. Can anyone who fol...

Re: Rugby Union World Cup.

The quality in this game seems to be quite lacking. I’m surprised how poor Wales seem to be at chasing their own kicks and catching the South Africa’s. If England can play anywhere near the level they did yesterday against either of these teams then I can only see one result. Admittedly this is the ...
