Re: ✍️ Welcome Lucas Paquetá - Our Brazilian Magnifico

I find it interesting how the tone has changed since the Man City links resurfaced. Things he is being pulled up now which have always been part of his game but went unmentioned. Fans love to rush to question players character, happens with many players when their form dips. Never something I’ve li...

Re: Where will we finish?

Unless both us and Liverpool perform a miracle tomorrow then 5th place won’t qualify for the champions league and 8th won’t qualify for Europe. I’d say if we lose Leverkusen and fail to beat Palace then any chance of Europe next season is over, tbh even if we beat Palace our chances look very slim, ...

First ever time RC have beat them I believe, but if Rangers win all their remaining games I think will still win the league, as I’m sure I heard they still have to play Celtic one more time.

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

Unfortunately our best hope is probably being able to claim we were the only team to beat Leverkusen this season, winning by three though, it just doesn’t seem at all likely. Really hope they don’t score an early goal, or it will feel a bit like after we conceded following Creswell’s sending off in ...

Re: Where will we finish?

I can easily envisage Newcastle winning all their next 6 games while Man U winning 3 . I can't see us winning any of our last 5 games , at most maybe 1 draw against Luton (who might even beat us). It seems like we might get 11th or 12th. Living up to your name here  I predict we will get betw...

Genuinely shocked anyone ever had either Arsenal or Liverpool as favourites, but heard many pundits say so in the last couple of weeks.

Re: ✍ Welcome, Konstantinos Mavropanos

The Greek Titus Bramble, looks a good player 90% of the time, but you can never fully trust him. A frustrating player as physically he has all the tools but I don’t think he should ever be above 3rd choice. We need to sign two centre halves in the summer, a starting LCB to replace the departing Ague...

Re: Where will we finish?

As I said earlier, lose today and it's 9th. Nailed on now I reckon. Chelsea will definitely overtake us with 3 games in hand. I probably agree but Chelsea have failed to beat a 10 man Burnley and a basically relegated Sheffield United in their last few games, who knows what to expect from them. We’...

Re: Where will we finish?

I’ll go 9th, but if we lose to Palace 10th - season is far from over though, as only Newcastle look like they want European football next season.

Certainly not culminating in a season which justifies effectively throwing the League cup quarter final though.

Is it that hyperbolic really? We have won 4 in 19, soon to be 4 in 20 after Thursday. I'm sorry mate, I dont see us winning games because the stats are telling me that we just dont right now, the performances on the whole confirm that suspicion too. yes we have been robbed in a few by VAR but I jus...

O right sorry, because it's mathematically possible we could get europe still, you are right, it’s not over. Looking forward to getting wins in our next 5 games. Mathematically possible  It’s mathematically possible that we finish 5th and get champions league - now that would be a stretch. To...

Most of it is actually a fact

Saying our season is over when we are 4 points clear of 7th and 8th has a chance of Europe is literally the definition of ‘cobblers’, it down right stupid - but you are not alone.

Re: West Ham United vs Fulham FC - Sunday 14 April - 2pm

It's over, 8th might not even be European footy. If it is the only reason we will get it now will be because those below us are dogwater. So it’s not over then is it, far from it. How can it be over when we are currently 8th by 4 points and 2 point off 6th, with Newcastle the only non-‘dogwater’ si...

Re: West Ham United vs Fulham FC - Sunday 14 April - 2pm

If I were Moyes I'd be giving the youth serious game time from now on, Season's over may as well start Earthy every game and see if he's ready for next season. I’ve seen multiple people say our season is now over and I’m not sure why. If 8th has a chance of European football then the season is very...

The ref may have got the Saka incident right, but he should never ref again after the handball incident; he basically gave Arsenal a mulligan. Both games though unfortunately give a reason for a super league.
Disagree, a super league kills these games. The reason they are so good is partly because of the significance of them, you won’t get many league games like tonight.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

I would presume the add-ons have already been reached, a big chunk of it for example was contingent on survival last season. Johnson went down as pure profit so it's slightly different, they'll want more than £8m profit on Gibbs-White, he'll be at least £65m, I like him but he's not worth that. Dep...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

Gibbs-White cost Forest £42m when they signed him, we're not going to get him for £50m. Two successful years in the Premiership, young, homegrown, absolutely no chance. Don’t Forest have PSR issues, they let Johnson go for less (although I understand the home grown profit ramifications are greater ...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

If Moyes stays I’d quite like us to go for Barkley if Luton get relegated. He’s been quality for them this season playing a slightly deeper role, home grown and probably on a free if Luton go down. I know this suggestion would of got a lot of hate 12 months ago, but he's certainly changed my opinion...
