Re: NK Domzale v West Ham Utd: EL Q3 Match Thread

Feghouli was our best player I thought.

Looked very strong, confident on the ball and played some accurate free kicks.

Re: NK Domzale v West Ham Utd: EL Q3 Match Thread

I see that Domzale recruited their left back through LinkedIn.

Maybe we should try that in future.

Re: NK Domzale v West Ham Utd: EL Q3 Match Thread

It's all very one dimensional in the final third for us too. Constantly looking for Carroll's head. Either by crosses or long balls. We've got no-one bar Feghouli capable of creating through the middle.

Re: NK Domzale v West Ham Utd: EL Q3 Match Thread

Valencia's done alright.

Both goals have come from Antonio's errors. He's not a defender / RB.

That decision to sell Tomkins is looking a bad one now eh.

Emenike scored twice tonight against Monaco in a Champions Leaque qualifier.

Sign him up!

Apologies!

Seems odd to me though the club would put this out if he's meant to be off.

Re: A £20 million plus striker: The summer transfer thread

Seriously though, we need cover for Cresswell. And maybe a specific RB. Apart from that I think we've added wisely to the squad. I'd be happy to see the back of Valencia for perhaps someone like Ben Yedder. Calleri in on loan, Sakho stays. I'd be happy with that. We should build our squad up gradual...

Re: A £20 million plus striker: The summer transfer thread

I like Brady, good on the ball and very nippy but I was going to say where the hell would be fit into our squad. Then saw Wikipedia has got him down for LB as his second position, honestly didn't know this as never seen him play for Norwich there. So yeah, would be great cover for Cresswell but once...

Re: A £20 million plus striker: The summer transfer thread

Martial - I don't rate him much. Man Utd paid well over the odds for him.

He showed some good ability at Monaco and looked promising but has been very inconsistent since his move to the Mancs and also had an awful Euro tournament, looked very out of his depth at times.

Bloody hell, when did Woakes get really good all of a sudden? On this form I can't see him being dislodged from the team.

A great asset with bat and ball.

Re: The English Summer of Cricket

Great knock by Woakes, amusing that he was only meant to be doing a night watchman job.

Got to be fill ya boots time now imo. Let's get the game moving on, post 500+ and declare.
