Re: Season ticket renewal 24/25
Spurs have scrapped their OAP tickets altogether from 2025. That'll 100% be next for us. It's only for those that reach 65 after 2025 at Spurs. Existing over 65s will see the discount on their existing season tickets reduce by 5% for the next 5 years to a 25% discount going forward (unless they cha...

Re: TV Fixtures
^^^ Arsenal playing in the Champions League on the Tuesday means they can't play the previous Sunday when they are currently scheduled to play Spurs. So we swap with the Spurs vs Arsenal match. We won't get confirmation until 9/10 days beforehand - Arsenal play their 2nd quarter final leg on Wednesd...

Re: Away Tickets Thread - Leverkusen S/O 51+ Pts
That won’t happen. No names on tickets and they’re not going to spend the resources to check everyone has a valid booking, would take forever. If someone was found to not have a booking there’s absolutely no way of telling who supplied that ticket anyway. A number of clubs are checking at the away ...

Re: Away Tickets Thread - The European Scramble......continues
Lets remember that Leverkusen only had to give us 1500 tickets plus 200 corporate. If we look at last season, Roma only got the same allocation that we have been given. The response from Nicola Keye to the ISC was that more tickets were made available to us by taking the standing section. She also ...

Re: Away Tickets Thread - The European Scramble......continues
Think it is the same. Typical German away end, safe standing. Oddly, they'd bolted all the chairs shut though, so you couldn't sit on them. In Europe and Scotland where for standing use, rail seats are tipped up and locked out of the way to leave each row completely free of any obstruction. In some...

Re: Top Flight Clubs Fail to Agree EFL Funding Deal
I still don't understand why it's government's business to tell the PL, other than paying its taxes what it must do with its money. I don't disagree that it's in the PL's interest to financially support lower levels, but I can't see why this particular sport should have a government regulator impos...

Re: Late David Gold, Sullivan and Brady
^^^ It could be Ampika Pickston running the club and instead of Ofsted trying to close things down due to mismanagement, it will be the Premier League.
Gold's shares. The other owners have first refusal and Ampika has told Sully there's better things to do with his money.

With some proper coverage from TNT sports as well. Just checked what time we're on and some programme is on there now called The Football's On featuring Carlton Cole and some others. Talking about West Ham if anyone interested. Edit. Gutted I've missed half of this programme, looks like it's a fans...

Update from Freiburg supporters rep who asked their club's SLOs about being held back after the match: You will be able to leave the stadium after the game. There will be shuttle buses from the guest bus car park to Karlsplatz (city centre). It is possible that after the departure of the first buses...

....... And then tonight when we get to our seats constant harassment by stewards to sit down. I swear nowhere else in the ground is targeted like 215 and 216. Maybe you guys can challenge that? Any idea how many tickets are left for Newcastle? Has reached my points tally but debating if it's worth the risk of waiting until it hits my brothers on 22.... Last season Newcastle sold out at 39% of the then maximum points someone could have. Current maximum is 66 points and 39% is 25 points. ht...

Re: Takeover talk
How does inheritance tax on those shares work. 40% of the value once sold? Nice little earner for the tax man. Why do I think that may not happen. I'm assuming inheritance tax includes the estate (including shares) but how would the taxman have known value of shares. Anyway it's only a question, I'...

Re: Takeover talk
I'm a bit tired so forgive me if I'm wrong here, but isn't your calculation for 1%, not 1 share? Not sure if having fans buying individual shares would really be a good thing in practice. Too many people involved when a decision needs to be made. Assume that the valuation of the club is £650m and t...

Does she have to offer them to the other shareholders first before she can sell them on the "open" market? Yes, but if they don't immediately take them up they can subsequently match any 3rd party offer that comes in. It might be that she and the other shareholders want to see what the op...
